I can record. But it looks kinda laggy you know what I mean? I record with a rate of 30-35 fps, good enough to play bf3. But when I play the recorded video looks awfull. Like I had 10 fps or so. Do you know what to do ?

@joker2100 Never had that issue, but then again, I don't use Sony Vegas Pro. Can you try a different codec? Otherwise, try fraps or dxtory or playclaw.

@gamedexterity I've done some video editing before with FRAPS and Vegas is able to display both audio and video when I transfer FRAPS AVI footage over. I'm not sure why MSI won't work because it is also AVI.

@theangusbugg Odd, those are 3D games so afterburner should detect it. You can try using fraps, playclaw, or dxtory then.

@gamedexterity Well if you have fast CPU you can go to Settings in MSI Afterburner and in Video Options set Multithreaded Optimization to 8 threads or more if you CPU can support it. I was able to record 7 minute video of Dungeon Siege 3 in 840x525 which is 1/2 of 1680x1050 in 100% quality and it was 558MB! I have Q6600.

@warhawksuper I got a 3800+ AMD dual core processor running right now at 2.2ghz. I'll mess with the threads and see what happens. Is there a reason you wanted to record at half resolution? Does it even look good in the end instead of your max resolution? - Versatile

@gamedexterity Well I can say that it doesn't look bad. The reason is slow ATA hard disk and not so great graphic card ENGT240. I'm playing with every setting maxed and get 45-50 fps. While recording with half res I get 30fps and with full 20 or even less.

Tried it and i have to say its fucking awesome!

used to capture Bad company 2 with 45 FPS using fraps now can capture 60 FPS!

(i have ATI 5770 if any one wonders!)

the quality and is as good as fraps also

the only problem is that it captures the colors a little bit weird which with some work with Adobe its good to go
