  • eat tons of food several days before a long flight and build up. FLying really sucks your energy. YOu will need some extra calories for your big journey. IT really does drain you. I mean it

  • I remember one year at toronto airport i could actually smell the airplane jet fumes in the terminal. I think it is coming in through the aircraft bridges when passengers off load. IT is a concern

  • think its time for a vacation to the Caribbean where its warm lol greetings from St Kitts and Nevis

  • the only good flights are when its totally clear skies. when its cloudy you don't see any terrain. Unfortuantely its not easy to predict if youre flight will be totally clear skies which always seems to be the best flights across the north atlantic to toronto. CLoudy conditions for the entire flight really suck

  • Best de-icing facilities in the world.

  • Mexicana's like, wtf is this shit ...

  • that annoucement tune at 0:07 reminds me iof first trip to the rocky moutains. you have to admit the scenary on the flight to vancouver is amazing. if its youre first time make sure you get a widow seat or you will miss the experiecne of a lifetime on the flight to vancouver.

  • its a boeing 777

  • why is the date in june

  • @Froggosim because he took the trip in december, january or febuary and posted this video in june from his computer

  • 0:17 is a 777 is it not? Look at the turbofan blades. Waved blades aren't featured on the 767. The airplane in the first several seconds looked more like a 767. Either way, sure looks like a Canadian winter. Where were you going?

  • @KSharp320: Its a 767. 777 engines are bigger. We were bound for Hong Kong.

  • @benlawr2000 Yeah it was definitely a 777. The first 16 seconds looks like a 767, but after that the aircraft changes to a 777. I don't think the 767-200 has the range to fly from Toronto to Hong Kong non stop, also at 0:17+ the turbofan blades represent the 777 engines. So I'm certain the aircraft was a 777 after 0:17 into the video. Ugly looking winter.

  • @benlawr2000 Ummm couldn't have been a 767-200... first of all you were bound for Hong Kong 767-200(ER)s dont have the range. Secondly, two jetways are connected to the aircraft, B767-200s only have one entry/exit door on the port side of the aircraft. B777-200s (including Air Canada's LR) have two port side doors. Therefore its a Boeing 777-200LR not a Boeing 767-200(ER). So KSharp320 you're right!!!

  • @101watever101 Oops just noticed... first 14 seconds is a Boeing 767-200... then 14+ is a Boeing 777-200LR... play the video over 14 seconds and you'll notice the change in aircraft... as one is of a lighter blue shade... and there is only one jetway connected in the first 14 seconds, but two connected after 14 seconds!

  • @benlawr2000 it is a T7 its got a 6 wheel bogie. curved fan blades, raked wingtips need i go on?

  • holy shit! i've never seen snow in my lfie and i'll probably travel to toronto in january. if i wanted to see snow by the first time toronto looks like is gonna give me my deserve! it's gonna be a tough first time! woho!

  • Where Were you Going to ? And where you on that 767-200 = )

  • everytime i hear that announcement nosie it reminds of my first trip to the north american rockies. Great memories for life

  • the 10 hour delay isn't because of the snowstorm, it's because you chose air canada, 10 hour delay is early for them!

  • i work at that airport and plow the snow we try out best dont be hatein on us to much guys!!

  • One thing i hate is coming back from vacation and it is cold when you get off the plane in the winter and when you jus come back with shorts

  • I'm going on vacation for the holidays and will be back on jan. 8th, I hope there's no storm when I get back to Toronto, nothing worse than not being able to land in Toronto, I'll already be missing a week of classes

  • i think time to change to winter tires Pilotssssss!!!!!

  • Yep, this is Toronto that's for sure.

  • @garlex134 lol so true XD

  • wow that first "chime" at the beginning reminds me of the one on BC ferries lol...

  • many times, during the winter season. especially btw mid December to early Feb.

  • its fun though i love a good winter storm in Toronto especially at the airport its cool to watch the planes land in the snow

  • How often do these storms occur in Canada dare I ask

  • like every couple weeks. depends where you live, but in the southern ontario region, that's how often.

  • I got delayed for 10 hours at Pearson Int'l and had a blast.

  • i once got delayed at detroit for 7 hours flying home for winter break... i'm glad i found an irish bar

  • no u didnt, LIAR

  • lol this is like totally normal for toronto and montreal in the winter. montreal is probably worse anyways.

where where you flying to with that 762?

  • man i love air travel with this weather!

except for the delya. but the atmoshphere seems nice. especialy towards the holidays!

  • So, were you flying Air Canada anywhere? And too where if so, Sorry but I hate Air Canada

  • Air Canada's planes must take a beating with bad winter storms that we get all the time.

  • they take off with all that ic and in düsseldorf if there is 1 Cm of snow they cancel all flights. crazy!

  • Canada is generally more prepared to handle snow than most of Germany, simply because of experience. The place in Canada where they're not well-equipped to handle snow would be Vancouver and Victoria area of B.C. The rest of Canada is very well prepared.

  • Nasty for the outside workers. I feel for them as I have an outdoor winter job myself.

  • The very thought of flying in these conditions, gives me brown trousers. Whoomph!

  • i want to take off in this kind of snow , see the engine blowing snow off the runway lol, haha

  • omg!!!!

    there was a "mexicana" airplane"""""

  • lol so?? why r u so shocked? lol

  • how on earth do you fly in these conditions. especially taxing out to the runway. you cant see anything.

  • alot of aircraft have a ground guidance system for airport taxi diagrams and ground guidance. its similar to the sat nav systems in cars except its uses map data for airport taxi ways and intersections

  • i use to work for-american airlines in boston. i know all about winter, like deicing the 777 in a noreaster.was the terminal cold on a long delay. i use to see people sleeping on cots or on the floor in the winter. in a cold airport.

  • was the mexicana able to take of or was it a landing plane.

    nice vid!

  • Fortunately, it did. Flights were as usual that day, except for our flight... Unfortunately, we were told the pilot did not make it on time to the airport. lol

  • LOL it's Canada this is nothing if your an airline and you dont take off in this you will get fined by GTTAP for wasting there time. Welcome to Canada

  • I have a photographic memory. Well nice to meet you.

  • there was the exact day and the plane was same. Also by that P.A I heard.

  • wow, how do you remember that, like i mean the exact details.... lol. That was like last year...

  • I was walking behind you the first 10 seconds of this video.I was on gate 179. What a coincidence

  • how do you know? lol....

  • it snows from nov till march or april, he's not an idiot

  • well its true aint btw 10 hours that must have sucked

  • ur an idiot read the discription

  • lol

  • was this in march?

  • lol! i had to work out there. i remember me an my boy careening around in a baggege tractor at about 2am dodging those plows and not thinkin i was gonna make it outta there alive.

  • Theres A 767-200 And A 777-200LR ;P

  • wow less than 1/4 mile visiblilty. i assume you were delayed awhile.

  • i want to go to canada

  • WAS YOUR flight AT NIGHT OR DAY

  • It was 9:30 in the morning. It was dark bcoz of the winterstorm...
