i have some ram from a 12 year old toshiba satalite laptop 94 mb and a floppy drive if you want them the mother board went out and the batery holds a charge for about 10 minutes thats pretty good for being 12 years old if you want it let me know i dont use it so i wont evan notice its gone

I recently got my first 30 pound laptop -_- It's a 2gb Alienware (not the gaming model) Laptop with Windows 7. Runs quite smoothly and I like it. Harddrive went wrong or something so I need to get it fixed. I posted this on my gaming desktop called "Chaos" Because of Professer Chaos from South park. :D

when i got mine in 1999 i got a dell with 6 gigs oh hard drive 128 of ram and a 400mgh prosser and a dvd and flopppy and a cd and barttery and a 2usb ports

you must love this computer to keep it so long, what amazes and fascinates me is how far we have come along in the last ten years. my gateway runs Vista has 4 Gigs of ram, a 500 Gig hard drive is dual core and only 2 & a half years old, I payed 750 for it and now you can get computers that are better for $300.00 less, but i love my laptop. thanks for the video

These were excellent computers during their time. I still see many of them running today. You should be able to install Windows 2000 if you add another 96MB of RAM. Heck, with 128MB of RAM, you can even get Windows XP on that bad boy. Nice video man.

that is not 1999 tech. that is more like 1996 or 1997. 1999 was pentium 3 with more than 1 ghz speed. Playstation 2 was out!

I really liked windows 95 when it came out I was using windows 3.1 in 94 right before 95 came out. The other reason windows 95 is great is this was before Microsoft Monopolized and integrated Internet Explorer version 5.0 I think into the OS itself. I really wish Microsoft would make the web browsers less integrated into windows. I think version 3.0 something was when it was lightweight and not integrated into 95.
