You should of transposed the music by using a capo. It's obviously too high for the singer. 5 semi-tones down would be better.

You could take it 7 semi-tones up and sing an octave lower.

The guitar is tuned correctly, and the dude on the right, hits almost all his notes good. I Agree that some of the vocals are out, but mainly it's good.

The guitar is not tuned correctly. Listen when he strum a D or C. The A string is a bit out of tune but the b and e is way out. Just because you hit the notes when you sing does not mean you are a good singer. This guy could be quite good if he adds a littel vibrato to his voice it wouldn't be so flat then. But his pronouncement is horrible like i wrote before that is his biggest problem.
