First the Shah was the King in Iran since 1942 so the USA couldnt install him in 1953, his father was king since 1921 too. Iran was a monarchy in 1953 & we had no president. Mosadegh like all Priministers according to 1906 constitution was appointed to the job by the Shah. THIS I SAW LIVE ON TV WHEN I LIVED IN IRAN. "We are your best friends", that holy moses hypocrite Jimmy Carter said. His administration was already planning the downfall of the Shah he embraced during that dinner like some Judas. That evening changed my whole view of things like human rights and all that hypocrite blabla. I still get angry after 30 years watching this video, how a whole country was betrayed and sold off to hell and war with a kiss from someone "humane" and "righteous". Bah!

Thanks to Carter´s incredible betrayal of the Shah, the world got:
a) the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan end 1979;
b) the US supported attack of Saddam Hussein on Iran, starting a long bloody war.
c) the rise of Al-Qaeda;
d) the 1st and 2nd Gulf Wars;
e) the attack on the Twin Towers....
Need I say more? What Carter did was to betray a very good friend of his country and turn half of the world upside down. I hope that Jimmy Carter will live on in infamy in history.

the only way to truly find out would be through genetic ancestral DNA testing. It's around $100-200. The Iranian peoples are a collection of ethnic groups, defined along linguistic lines as speaking Iranian languages. Most of us Iranians probably have Arab and/or mongolian and/or greek and/or greek blood mixed in due to the fact my great great great grand mothers were probably raped by those mentioned above.
