HEY GUYS I FOUND A WAY TO REVERT THE PATCHES SO U CAN DO THIS(just on xbox 360)

1. go to the dashboard and then go to ur memory

2. when ur there press Y for "device options"

3. press the option "clear cache"

and updates and patches 4 all games ur updated or patched games are erased but dont re update the game so glitch is still present

but this has a few down falls

1.u have to re-update all ur games again

2.u cant play on xbox live(just SP or system link i think)

Its bullshit that they patched this just for fun glitch, whilst leaving gaping holes in other parts that could have used the attention.

I say don't join this game not because it's an attempt at realism, but because it really does fucking blow.

Codemasters have dropped support for this game already after 4 months and 2 petty patches that did very little to fix what was really broken about this game. This game is fucking piss poor online and nobody plays it either.

I recommend Battlefield 2's Project Reality, Arma II and for a less realistic but fun shooter Battlefield Bad Company 2.

The glitch worked when i made this video (October 2009) but the PS3 version has been patched since. Im not sure if this issue was addressed in that patch. If they fixed this and left the multiplayer as broken as it was though they need a spanking.

So I'm doing the glitch with the cobra and the free roam glitch. I make it all the way to a little group of buildings north-northwest of Lanstrov and my cobra disappears while I'm trying to land. Now I'm stranded 22.4km from the objective. Gonna be a LONG walk.. :( lol

@jhow63 They buggered us. When the glitch was found, the game obviously had the cockpits of various vehicles in game modelled but those vehicles were not supposed to be accessible. The DLC included things like Little birds and Cobras in the Single missions, so its probable that CM intended to just keep charging us to access stuff that was coded in the disc anyway.

All the DLC was was a instruction to the game to spawn stuff in a certain location. DLC my arse.

You have to shoot both helos down, if one escapes and reaches the sea near the salt flats then they will both dissapear.

If you plan to fly for a very long time kill the pilots too, if they reach the salt flat shore then the choppers will dissapear also.

When you first load the level you wont have enough time to kill the helos, just shoot them for fun/practice... Once they are gone reload the last checkpoint and you will start again, able to move and with the helos a lot closer.

There is a vid on here where someone supposedly gets this glitch to work on the xbox360, and actually shows him getting into and flying a Cobra, but it doesn't show him repairing it.

So unless he managed to somehow shoot down the Cobra and leave it completely undamaged, I have no idea how he did it.

It does work on the 360. Park your humvee so it touches the cobra. Then damage your humvee dont destroy it. Then make it so your command radial is pointed at the humvee and you are ready to issue you AI to repair the humvee. Make sure the cammand raidal to repair is on the humvee but as close to the cobra as possible but still on the humvee. issue the repair on the humvee and move the radial over to the cobra as fast as you can! It does work i was skeptical until i did it

On the xbox360 - I've shot the 2 Cobra's down (still intact, just need repairing), taken out the AA teams, parked the Humvee right next to one of the Cobra's, and it WILL let me get in, I just cant get any of my sqaud to repair the thing. I've tried damaging the Humvee while its still parked up against the Cobra, and still no option to repair. I've tried it on both downed Cobra's and nothing.

I'm pretty certain this glitch doesn't fully work on the xbox.

The glitch doesn't work as it should in co-op, but if you play with respawns enabled they can spawn into the vehicle.

When i was trying to get the achievement where you have to kill someone with a copter without using weapons. On the last mission where you board the chopper to go assault the naval base, I took over control and then tried crashing into enemies. it took about 6 goes - each time my rotors would come off or it would flip. and each time i repaired it and carried on witht he same copter. Trust me it worked then.

Well that was mission 11 wasn't it, that aint a glitch, they are showing mission 9 here in an attack helicopter not a transport helicopter from mission 11. Watch the video please mate mission 11 doesn't have any glitches to do with vehicles that I know of

Damage your humvee too. The 'characteristics' of your humvee seem to transfer to the chopper. So if your humvee is 100% then that might be why theres no option to repair on the chopper. Try beating the humvee up a lil

This might be why the glitch works, if you look on the map, the characters for the jeep and the helo overlap. The game might think your getting in the jeep, when your actually getting in the helo

Look at where the choppers are in the crosshairs, on or just above the thinner part of the vertical bar. Try firing in single shots but quickly tapping also.
