My son just dedicated this song to me for his Mother/Son dance at his wedding. He didn't know that Rubber Soul was the very first record I bought myself as a teenager or how this song throught out the years would cause me to think about how I would dedicate it to a special person. I was so surprised at his choice and of course I knew all the words so I sang it to him as we danced. I think he was delighted.

And in my life I'm thrilled to say that I saw the Beatles in 1965 at Shea Stadium, NY. and Paul twice. At the Meadowlands, NJ in 93 and the New Citifield, NY 2009. I'll never forget the day when I heard we lost John Lennon. To this day it's still like part of my childhood was taken from me, all of us that grew up in the 60's. When George left us that was like another stab in the heart. As John said, "Life happens when your busy making other plans". God bless the four lads from Liverpool...
