thats called stopmotion: you make a picture, then u turn it a bit, take the next picture ... until u have a solved cube, then u make a video out of that... needs about 5000-10000 pictures ;)

stop-motion - you don't film it, you take pictures as frames. it must've taken ages as the usual "minimum" frames-per-second for it to look good is 8, and it's usually 12-30.
