  • ellen is one of the best leader if there's is anyother than her.Liberians, let us be pride of our leader and do all we can to work to rebuild that country of urs.let us not be fool to believe that we are going to see a new nation come from the sky.i was in liberia recently and what i enjoy most was the peace we enjoy today.some will come promising us a new nation without work, but please don't be fool it's all for the selfish gain.

  • L.I.B 4 ever

  • we got all then good in that dirty country ..but we just need to work hard and harder to ovetroll the povretry in our sweet country..we got nothin to loose , one man cannot bild thats country we all need to help this our feature and we need to bild our children feature ..offcource our parent did'nt but we should do this just for the love of our birht in thats country..man all i got to say is i love all of you liberian guys arround the world man ..so its time to do something..L*I*B for life ..

  • People need to visit Liberia and see for themselves. I left for Liberia March 1, 2008 and got back March 24,2008. Ellen government is a mess. The economic hardship in Liberia presently is a disgrace. People in Liberia are saying even the criminal Charles Taylor government is way bettet then her government. Bag of rice LD 2000 plus, Club beer big bottle is LD100, Guiness stout LD 85, Malta is $65, even soft drink is 40LD. Transportation from broad street to paynesville is LD 45 to 50.

  • We cannot forget that: 1) Ellen has only been in power for two years, after inheriting that mess you speak of; and 2) there is a world wide crisis regarding rice-Liberia is not immune from this. I agree, more can be done, however, I do not think that one can, with a straight face, compare Ellen's government with Charles Taylor's. I will take transparency in government with pledges of assistance, than corruption with pledges of war, indictment and sanctions-any day of the week.

  • @jdram0731 no dobt charles was a dictator, but let not credit peace n some sense of democracy in lib 2 ellen. da rebels (lurd n model) dat turn da table on charles n da fake int'l comunity were responsible 4 bringin bout da outcome. opon takin ofice ellen knew better 2 eforce democracy if she want peace. if she was in taylor position she would do da same, u need proof she arrested charlse julu n andrew dorbor bcuz she was jail by dem doin da doe period. ellen is not doin enough 4 mama lib.

  • I think Ellen John Sirleaf can do more. What is the government doing with the money they've received? Why can't they paint those buildings, clean the street, creat jobs? Do something for poor people.
