  • No technique in the world will save you if you gas out. That's they beauty of Krav Maga. The continual stress drills bring the reality of the fact that in a fight? YOU WILL battle fatigue. Any system that just teaches stupid technique? Without the fatigue element training? You're going to get your ass kicked or worse

  • @ATLnyuckanumberone how many times do you get a gun pulled on you? or even get into a fight???? Im gonna venture a guess and say that less than .0001% of the population has had this happen. fyi- if i pull a gun on you, im going to shoot you right away, take what i want, and sleep with your wife!!

  • @rojoification definitley, i just did it for fun...filling the void

  • @ATLnyuckanumberone definitely, but there is still a strong likelihood that someone who pulls a gun on you may still decide to shoot after they get what they want...something to consider as well

  • people need to stop talking crap about any form of martial arts. krav maga has been proven to be very effective. just as jeet kune do to bjj to muay thai. they're all good. but krav maga isnt a sport. its pure self defense where its only purpose is to eliminate a threat before the threat eliminates you. there are no tournaments. there are no rules. if this was crap then it wouldnt be used in the military. krav maga doesnt use a point system. its reality

  • Meh...Learn MMA, its a much better form of personal self defense. It incorporates more forms of martial arts from around the world and is 100% AMERICAN MADE!!! Lawyers are the only form of Jewish self defense I trust ;-)

  • @svtehrani

    Dumb.

  • @svtehrani MMA is just as bad as this crap dont do it.

  • @svtehrani lol

  • @svtehrani You really don't know that much about Krav Maga do you? Ignorance is bliss I guess.

  • @fullymental307 I dont know much about lepers either but I know I wouldnt want to join them...fucktard. Here's my gym nextgenerationmma . com (Frisco, Texas location). You wann bring that Krav Maga bullshit over to our gym and test it out, be my guest...I promise you that YOU WILL LOSE. P.S. wear your yamaka so we know who you are.

  • @svtehrani lol dude relax... Krav is a lot like MMA other than it has no rules, has a good focus on dealing with guns and knives, and working on getting you out of having tunnel vision when fighting one person. Like MMA is uses the muay thai round kick and push kick (teep), some BJJ is taught just so you have a clue what to do on the ground...but its generally taught that you shouldn't grapple because the guy you're grappling with may have a friend nearby who could boot you in head

  • @gmartins Gman that tyrade wasnt aimed at you bro and no disrespect on the Krav Maga comment. That punk fullymental just doesnt know how to come at someone with that kind of tone. I respect all forms of self defense, I've just always grown up as a wrestler and later into Jitsu. I know its important to be a well rounded fighter but the ground has always been home for me and so much easier to finish a bigger opponent as well. Anyway, thanks for lowering the temperature in here man!

  • The most important part of Krav Maga is Situational Awareness and Solution. Give the thief the money if that's all he came for and conceder it payment for the stress drill. Neutralize the attacker if he intends to harm or capture you. PROBLEM SOLVED!

  • What I love about Krav Maga is that it truly conditions you for real situations. It might seem overkill to train an hour non-stop before you actually engage in learning the techniques but you have the reassurance of stamina and strength. A person trained in Krav Maga will be tough to beat!

  • @mattfirebird yup thats the idea, testing your mental toughness..training you to dig deeper when you think you're already spent

  • This is the best music I've ever heard.

  • the 360 defense at 1:25 was sloppy, the kicks in the beginning were good, but you let your hands go down keeping your face unprotected every time you threw a kick, also the scenarios at 1:50 were just unrealistic, no ones going to come up to you and punch above your head not even aiming for you while not even trying to defend against your attacks, also the slow fight at 3:10 was terrible, again you let your hands down leaving your face open to attack, stop being such a sloppy kravist!!!

  • @carkorot yeah bad habbit from a 4 years of muay thai, I was always taught to use the opposite arm as a counter balance to drive the kick harder

  • @carkorot also at this point we were all beyond exhausted..as you can see on the bottom of my dark grey tshirt that 95% of it is sweat. before the test started we do an hour of what is essentially non-stop ploymetrics

  • @gmartins i remember when i start krav class, i have asthma so all the warm-ups are super intense, but they really condition you for class, keep trying to get better man

  • @carkorot I say stop being a kravist period. Learn a real art.

  • Not sure what drill @ 1:30 is… if it is supposed to be 360’s then you were taught wrong. The attacks should be redirected outside of your body. You can see this in the next drill where you practice attack/defense against round punch&haymaker. You perform an outside defense (360) and attack at the same time then proceed with follow-ups.

Those are some intense crawl throughs though….

  • @TheFrang001 it was just a parrying drill, just to slightly redirect a punch so the energy is off your face

  • @TheFrang001 it is not suppose to be 360 defense it is the inside defense against left right combination.

  • 0:20 fuck!at first i thought he would kick him right in the nuts :D

  • lol short distances look not effective :D looks funny not brutal why you need 5 little weak short hits, when one ggod hit is enaugh

  • @superGottx yeah the range of motion on some attacks could have been longer, but the idea is to be cotinuously attacking until your opponent is immobilized

  • @Dudemiesterr29 I'm the guy in the grey shirt, with the "trustkill" logo on the back, shorter of the 2 in the vid

  • No balls , no krav-maga

    hehehehe

  • doe krac maga get you this pumped? or did these guys just walked in and were ripped?

  • @UrColouredBrother The conditioning is decent for fatloss, but a lot of us also do crossfit workouts and eat paleo, the food really makes the biggest physiological changes

  • how many levels are there?

  • @reesessoldier1026 depends on the school

  • Yofe!

  • LOVE IT Just makes me wanna go to the gym and do some burtsing : )

  • @Dicko001 they teach defensive front kick (like a push kick) from both the rear and front leg, I def prefer the front for speed and less projection though

  • @gmartins depends on the purpose of the kick imo. To gain distance, use the front. if some1 is bullrushing u, atleast for me (300 punds, i got muscles in my legs) the rear is a better option. i stopped a 250 pound guy rushing me, then sent him flying back 5-6 meters with one kick

  • The best defense to any dangerous situation is the will to survive. The will to survive is only surpassed by your enemy's will to survive. In which case, value your life, and you will survive all encounters.

  • how many levels are there

  • this looks like level one test...still great work...mine was 5hrs long and i lost 4lbs in weight...effing intense but i felt the greatest sense of achievment...level 2 is fantastic

  • Are you sure this is level 2? Just did this test for level 1 and everything you did we did for level 1 test.

  • @kushalsherpa the video is actually of mainly level 1 content, our school every level test includes the previous level's content as well..so if you're doing a level 3 test, you repeat the test for level 1 - 2, and THEN you do your level 3 test..so its pretty tough

  • @gmartins we do the same in my karate dojo, and my jujutsu dojo. when i went for second dan, i was testing for a few hours nonstop xD we never did that in krav maga tho, atleast not in the higher levels

  • my god those are some sweaty guys

  • yes, yes & yes

  • iam thinkig of starting Krav Maga, can someone tell me if it gets you in good shape and toughens you up with enough skill to seriously beat up a street fighter on road?

  • @falkon14 krav will get you in GREAT shape and help you develop the physical and mental toughness you'll require to have a chance in surviving a real life or death encounter...chances are rare this will ever happen, but good to know

  • @gmartins amen to that. I just wish there was a gym thats not over two hours away form where I live that I could go to.

  • @gmartins

theres not a lesson that i dont get home sweat drenched and with sore muscles. it definitely gets you in great shape, maybe the best shape of your life cause they will push you to the limit. you get the simple, hard and effective techniques. the whole stress drills and situational awareness develops a fighting spirits and while decrease the chance of freezing up when in a real life sutation. when youve been throw in a pit, and beeing choked every single time, you get tough

  • @gmartins actually you are wrong. Martial arts experts and a psychology professor at a prestigious university. Martial arts and human psychology are codependent.

You are correct that it is rare to ever been in that type of situation, but Krav magra teaches you techniques, there is no telling how the human mind will react or anticipate an unplanned attack because there is no training for these sort of measures.

    Sorry buddy.

  • @Debaser13676 I absolutely agree that you can't prepare for a real violent attack, mainly due to the ensuing hormonal cascade (adrenaline), so I don't know how I'm wrong? If you have the technique under your belt you would of course have a much better chance of surviving v.s. someone who is untrained. Even if you can remember one simple technique you have an edge vs an untrained attacker. We try to simulate real attack as much as possible by being attacked with your eyes closed lights off etc

  • @gmartins You most definitely can prepare for a real violent attack. Becoming fluent in the fundamentals of any good martial art will give you a solid basis for dealing with a real attack. That training will give you the tools you need to defend yourself effectively, and limit that massive surge of chemicals and fear that come from not knowing what to do. Train properly in the fundamentals and you will fall into that training mode when you fight for real. I've done it twice under real attacks.

  • @falkon14 What shape are you in right now?

  • @TheBonusballer Well im ok i guess, i bench about 80kg and can do about 40 press ups, and run for about 30 mins, so i guess im not out of shape, why?

  • @falkon14 You should be fine then. Although it will be like no workout you've ever done b4. Harder i mean. PLus great training.

  • @TheBonusballer ok sounds good, ive done muay thai b4 and that was very intence, dont tell me its even harder? lol, i didnt think that was possible lol

  • @falkon14 depends on how hard u push urself. The practice will be very similar, with the exception of the self defence techniques, which usually (but not always) are fairly low-intensive. do make something a natural reaction, u practice it when ur tired, but to learn it, u do it when ur fresh.

  • @falkon14 You really might want to think why you're interested in learning Krav Maga. You don't learn a martial art just so you can "seriously beat up a street fighter on the road".

  • @falkon14 How good shape u will be in is entirely up to u. If u push urself, it will do wonders. Ur fightskills depend. If u make it easy for urself, u will go far
