Silicone is really exspenssive, and also the time and effort it takes to go into making a mask of that quality 800 and up is very reasonable.

Also silicone unlike latex doesn't rot. It's stronger, and seriously looks 100 times better. You can get a awesome 120 buck laytex mask worth every bit of your money, but for something that is a high quality silicone mask you're going to have to shell out more. They call it platinum silicone for a reason. 100 bucks a gallon atleaste.

Not true at all. The level of detail and professional artistry is what you are paying for. The $50 masks at the hallowen store are cheaply made, don't fit and don't look very real. They suck. CFX Masks look very real. The ones with flesh tone skins look and feel exactly like real skin. Plus, you get full mouth movement and facial expressions translating through the mask.

You pay a premium for exceptional artistry in any field of commerce, masks are not an exception.

It's called a niche marketing, and obviously you don't know much about business. Just because these companies sell publicly doesn't mean that they do that exclusively. In order to survive in niche markets they have to be flexible i.e. work on specific projects as an independent contractor for production companies whether it be stage, film, or haunt, and they can make serious bank because there aren't MANY other companies, and a lot of it is personal style and locality.

Materials to make it = probably 600 for materials to make 4 masks, it only cost so much because of the skill and handcraftment. Thats like 150$ profit for every mask he makes. The masks have gotten to citizens, haunted houses, movie, celebritys and more. so tell it to the people who do this for a living, theyll probably just give you 100$ for saying such a dumb thing.
