haha i stayed there once back in the 90's, and this 600 lb woman came down the slide and man, she FLEW down and all the way across the pool. fricken' hilarious. best memory at disney world

Kids loved the slide and so did I ,even at 33, would like to say that the life guards are the best I've ever seen , never taking there eye of the water, made my holiday much more relaxing as they made me feel they were watching over the kids, they were brilliant and thanks to them !! Port Orleans is a brilliant place and we want to go back asap !

I almost went to Port Orleans at Disney, but we got bumped up to the Wilderness Lodge

We went 2 months after September 11, 2001 and TONS of people cancelled their flights and trips to Disney. They closed this hotel temorarily because too many people cancelled their stay.

So we got upgraded for 100 bucks more, but I wanted to go on that slide!
