@3rushma pretty much anything is possible with the right budget, we run 9000-9500 regualrly with street 30s so it wouldn't be too hard, the question is WHY do you think you'd need 10,000rpm in a street car?
@MrRotormaster1 Yes we run petrol as we feel there are to many disadvantages in running meth, we can easily make enough power etc and this same engine is now running 7.20s @ 185+ on petrol in our other car.
@gameboss100 It was down to very low 8s then we put slicks on it and a water/air intercooler with a different front. I use to drive it around town and pull wheelstands, great fun :-)
@gameboss100 The same engine is now in a 7.2 second car still running on petrol and we could pull it straight out and put it in a street car with no changes, no problem.
Damn I would have loved to see you guys drop the extra weight and ship it over to aussie before you started the FED. Times im sure would have been obliterated
@TheChopperLine Cheers, yeah Reece from HT racing was sure we'd have run 7.50-7.60 pretty easy in Aussie and I would have loved to have had a go but unfortunatly we didn't have the budget to do it.
jeeeeez ahhaahhahaah RIPSNZ put a rb30 in a datsun 120y ahhaahahaha now that would be fuking scary loooooooooool we have alot of 120y here in trinidad.
Tiny? That's a monster man. Straight 6 engines are about the best engines you can get. Perfectly balanced, and lot's of rpms = hp. Offcourse they miss a part of the torque of a V8, but they are smaller and lighter. Ideal for racing.
Jesus christ, just realised how fast 7.89 is lol. Those record breaking gt-rs were only hitting 7.5\7.6. A 7.89 on a fully street legal machine, insane!
Cheers for the support, the car is actually 217kg over weight too, if I stripped it to minimum weight for the class, based on our results so far, it would probably be around 7.4 @ 185 but I'm keeping it so it can stay on the road for the new owner who ever that may be.
YEAH BABY! Proud to support you and your dedicated team. Well done Robbie! Just wish you would reconsider selling it and holding on to it for promotional events and of course owning the Worlds Fastest Road Legal Bill Board for R.I.P.S. Enterprise. Well there is room for expansion isn't there? Anyway I wish you well for the future for you and your team. And may you produce more RBeautifull works of wonder and power. R.I.P.S. Rulz!
Depends what you call "pump" lol, we have a big drum of C16 and we pump it out of there into the car, does that count? lol. We've never used meth or a blemd of meth, always petrol.
I reiterate our congratulations on achieving this stunning result. The feedback form you and your tuner, Jason (Infomotive) has been invaluable in our development of the G4 Engine Management system and it is gratifying to have our ECU's ability so publicly and ably demonstrated.
Your engines are world class and will now be recognised as such.
Thank you Phill for all your support over the last few years, the next project is well underway and we'll have to have a catch up real soon to discuss details,

@RIPSNZ
Because rippin mainies at 10 000rpm is where it's at
Wrulol 5 months ago
@RIPSNZ just wondering why you run the 30 rather than 26?
dalev100 3 months ago
@dalev100 because its easier and more reliable at the power levels I run, there's no issue with rpm and they make alot more torque.
