The pentagram, when inscribed in a circle is called a pentacle, and is used by Wiccans, etc. There are some distinctly feminist sects of Wicca, like Dianic Wicca, but the pentacle doesn't specifically relate only to women/fertility. A lot of people take the star's points to represent the five traditional elements with the interior pentagon representing spirit (which ties the others together). its heavily based on the fibonacci sequence and its all about spirals so yeah in a way you could say the golden ratio was used in the making:D someone has posted a great video about lateralus fibonacci and the golden ratio.. type lateralus and you will find it :D
