That has got to be the best demonstration of modern eastern sword arts i've seen on this site... very good video quality and sound... i've really enjoyed it... thumbed up, favorited and sub'ed cant wait for anymore future videos from you!
Some nice moves, but try get more speed, and skip the breaks. Then make the sheath's point face up, instead of down. Then get a real sword. Or try a bokken first.
his sheath is upside down coz japanese samurai beleaved the chei from your soul would leak out if the blade was pointed down. thus a japanese style sword is always blade up or pointing at your enemy. as for his control, he needs to SLOW down his moves so he can learn what he is trying to do. also when u strike stop the blade mid body dont cut through your attacker stop mid way. that shows the most control. jest try your hardest and watch some tutorials on the sword you are useing.
there are ppl that do it even if they are not bored and have friends :P a lot of them, well it is a hobby for me :P if you wanna check my profile out, go ahead ;]

At least you stress the movements. Next time try relaxing and enjoying the flow of your body. Close your eyes and feel the sword as an extension of yourself and use your mind to create you diversion. And... If you're going to practice Japanese styles, bow like Japanese. Not Chinese. :-p
