  • Fuck(Eugene V. Debs) . When the coward cocksuckers plowed in to the towers you better bet you sorry ass war was declared! Declared by the brave goddamn Black, white, brown, red, and every other shit kicking American that knows freedom ain't free and it ain't over.

  • @dina30141 - quite true but YOU don't know which "coward cocksuckers" plowed into the towers do you? You were told who THEY suspected - we don't really KNOW who did it. Before I get flamed for this, I did my part in the Iraq conflict BUT if it was AL QUEDA, as they say, then why did so many of our British troops die trying to topple Iraq instead?

  • We got your yellow asses covered. Bite the hand of freedom? Don't bitch when its your time to put up or shut up..hard like you like it. WE have a duty, a goddamned duty to question the goddamn Commander in chief. Take that pussy EU, the pussy UN and stick it.

  • Veterans Disarmament Act is now Law

Congress knows that bloodshed is inevitable in America given the outstanding debt & rapid collapse of the US Dollar. They also know Veterans will likely be the first to stand up against Gov tyranny through guerrilla Warfare.

Basically, Veterans names are now being put into the Brady Instant Check Data Base to block Veterans from being allowed to own or carry guns of any type

Moreover, Obama he wont bring soldiers home; diminishes vet benefits

  • may the American bastards die and burn in hell and the british come home alive

  • Davis

Do you think it is time now for a third party in Washington DC? I looked hard at the NI. While a good notion, it is still indirectly (or would be) open to lobbies-ts. Did Jesse Ventura ever go with a party?

  • exactly

  • World War 2 or October of 1962

  • No WWII was an expansion of the American Empire. I would say the Civil War was the last and only war we fought to defend the Constitution of the United States.

  • I hear ya. But if you want to view wars for the constitution in their purest form, you'd have to go back to the war period of 1812. Lincoln (God love him!) just tore the constitution up out of necessity!

  • What did America gain from WW2? America gave the Phillipines independence after the war, name something that "the American Empire" took.

  • Well the American Empire gained territory during WWII and established the US as the most powerful nation in the world. The Philippines are an American colony not an independent state. Germany and Japan never had the money, resources or technology to pose any real threat to the US. They were fights worth fighting but they did not pose a short term threat, maybe a long term but only if Europe and Asia could not contain them, which they could have.

  • @promontorium....."America"

  • The Civil War had nothing to do with the Constitution. That was about whether or not states had the right to secede, a right ambiguous in the Constitution; though the ideals of state sovereignty supported secession, 'twas never explicitly granted. The idea that states answer to themselves as the highest power would have logically allowed secession for any or no reason, but that is irrelevant. The potential seceders threatened nothing in the Constitution, only the Declaration of Independance.

  • The Civil War was about the slavery issue not the right to succeed. The succession of the slave states was in response to the congress wanting to abolish slavery in the United States. There were other concerns but the other reasons would have never started a civil war. The Civil War was fought over slavery which is and was a constitutional issue. Freedom is what the constitution is all about.

  • What is the right to "succeed?" I do not recall any states not trying to "succeed" in anything. Success is always good, otherwise goals are pointless. As to secession, the seceding states' main reasons were TARIFFS (#1), slavery-based commerce, the North reneging on a contract (however unjust the original contract was, they did agree to it), and many others. Slavery was only one of the main issues, and not the single most important one. I believe slavery is unjust, but it was not the only cause.

  • fuck that shit.

  • Excellent Video Mr. Fleetwood.

  • Do a google news search on artcle entitled:

" Obama: Wiping the Slate Clean "

We've done it again in falling for the exact same rhetoric of Tony Blair & Billl linto as the hope ad change peacemakers that were simply war hawks as Obama will be and alays was if the media had actually allowed analysis and critiam of his policies.

  • I know it sounds like another conspiracy theory, but . . . The corporate elite have control of the commerce spigot which they twist, turn & shut off whenever they feel it benefits them.

The so-called crisis we're, now, experiencing was timed to coincide with the elections so that the corporate elite could remind the new guys on the block- Obama included- who's really in charge & how easy it is for them to bring the country (even the world) to a complete halt should they so chose.

  • I am a veteran. I joined because of 9/11. I think taking down Afghanistan was necessary. You can't move me on that. I never agreed we should invade Iraq, and I've always wanted that war ended. Many wars we fought helped innocent victims. But often, just because one group is opressing another, doesn't mean we should fight and die for the cause. Most people don't know we are fighting small scale conflicts in many places, including Somalia, Djibouti, and Colombia.

  • ahahahahahahahaahahahahaa......victory i dont honor the vets its their choice to be in it, down with the monetary system!!!

  • I believe the answer to your question would be the War of 1812.

  • I would choose WW2 over the War of 1812. Most of our Pacific fleet was wiped out, and war declared on us, you wouldn't call THAT a defensive war? The war of 1812 was fought to take over Canada and prove to England we wouldn't take their crap anymore. Not really the best reason to fight a war, definitely not defensive.

  • Sure you can say that. However, those forces in the Pacific were stationed in regions in which the inhabitants had virtually no democratic rights and governors were appointed over them by Washington DC. Further there is fairly credible evidence that FDR played a fairly active role in laying down the groundwork for that "surprise" attack.

  • lol the fleet wasn't wiped out....give yourself a slap....most of the aircraft carriers were out on war games and that was the reason in which we did declare war and fought back ....psss if we were wiped out there would of been an invasion

  • I said most of the fleet was wiped out. Which is true, although unspecific. And you just tried to argue my point by stating it again. The point is, America was attacked. So it was defensive. Certainly there are many more issues involve, but you'll have to excuse me if I don't slap myself for not going into detail on youtube, the worst place on the internet to post a comment.

  • ww2

  • I'm officially making you my pretend boyfriend!

  • They have always taught and trained you to believe it to be your patriotic duty to go to war and to have yourselves slaughtered at their command. But in all the history of the world you, the people, have never had a voice in declaring war, and strange as it certainly appears, no war by any nation in any age has ever been declared by the people. (Eugene V. Debs)

  • I see another person that came home from war, not willing to work. Really just a total loser. Living off others. To lazy to get up and get a job.

  • Now is best time to ask unpopular questions!

  • Great video. This is our damn country!

  • If there are the ponds then who is the bishop or the rook??? The players, who are they...obviously not me, b/c I value military and I would use them as queens...

  • "The US government funded both sides of 14 different wars over a period of 20 years."

    National Taxpayers Union

"The first panacea for a mismanaged nation is inflation of the currency; the second is war. Both bring a temporary prosperity; both bring a permanent ruin. But both are the refuge of political and economic opportunists."

    Ernest Hemingway

    end the FED

  • Unfortunately this seems to be the truth.

I don't know Obama personally. I don't know who he is, where he comes from, what he believes or not believes. The only thing I saw and heard was brought to me by TV. Sorry I can't trust in it. And the only thing I see is a big white screen for individual projections. This reminds me to the old commercial slogan "Where is the beef?"

  • You're welcome Davis, you keep up the good fight yourself.

  • Yeh Davis.

    Yeh Adam!

  • The best defense is a good offense! :)

  • mmmm, being that im in australia, pretty much everyone here was for obama and thought he could do no wrong. (well except for the ones who had stumbled upon the "obama is a terrorist" attack websites)

they were shocked when i informed them just HOW MUCH his foreign policy sucks ass

  • Well said!

The answer is WWII but America didn't fully join in until after Pearl Harbor, when they realized that national security was now being threatened.

  • where does the money come from to pay for these reparations?

  • I Love you Man.

  • well said mate... and no mention of bigotry against Dungeons & Dragons players... well done, you have redeemed yourself :P

  • awesome vid good points lets get our boys out of there and help rebuild our nation where have our rights gone these days looking forward to more vids peace

  • Answer: World War 2. Adam knows his shit.

  • AMEN!

  • People like YOU are why I love America.

  • 1. WW2

Has anyone heard that Sarah Palin is going to try and run for president in 2012? Or was that just me. lol. I don't want to be going crazy.

    Another Great one Davis!

  • Absolutely brilliant.

  • 1. Answer to your question, WWII

also I agree with you here entirely, except for that reparations shit. They have oil and a surplus, they can figure it out.

  • Amen, Davis! The last legitimate war this country engaged in was WW II. This current travesty MUST end, and our President Elect MUST be reminded of that promise he made. It's a major part of salvaging what little is left of this nation after Bush has nearly destroyed it. And it's not just us; the entire world is expecting it.

  • GOOD VIDEO, strikes deep inside my soul, our human side truthfully, yeah bro. Obama needs to be shot in his small toe to know what pain is... Bush shot in his ass. The US IS A NATION OF INTERNATIONAL MURDERERS,ie after WW2no conflict arena of war is without US involvement, from Latin Amereic, Asia and the Mid East causing death, destruction and millions dead, just to spread freedom and ensure the US is safe and support the longest brutal and uncivilized occupation in modern history, Israel.

  • the last formal declaration of war was 1941 against Germany and Japan.

    aka. WWII

  • Davis, please remember that today is an *inter*national holiday (i.e. Armistice Day). It's the 90th anniversary of the end of the Great War (World War I).

  • The last time we had to fight against a foreign enemy who posed a legitimate threat against us was in the early 1940s against Japan who attacked our military base of Pearl Harbor and invaded and occupied islands in the Alaska territory; establishing military bases there. Those are the kinds of things a nation should go to war for; defending their territories. Every other war this country fought in the last 100 years, including against Germany in the 1940s, did not meet the above criteria.

  • NO BAILOUT FOR GENERAL MOTORS !

If you can't make competitive products that people want to buy - you are free to go out of business. This is a free market - read the fine print.

GM is Nader's old nemesis - (from the days of "Unsafe at any speed".

  • "NO BAILOUT FOR GENERAL MOTORS !"

How about "no bailouts for any corporation"? We've already spent over 1.4 trillion dollars bailing out bad businesses since the 1970's, and you're going to complain because GM is going to get a minuscule slice of the pie?

Meanwhile, isn't AIG getting even MORE money, again?

  • Yes NO BAILOUT for ANY Corporation!

Stop the double standards ! It's either a FREE Market FOR ALL, or Scoicizlism for all.

END CORPORATE WELFARE at the expense of taxpayers.

  • unsubscribed, fuck off

  • I believe that the United States military should only serve two functions:

    1. Non pre-emptive self defense.

    2. UN aproved NATO operations.

  • "2. UN aproved NATO operations."

Why is the US required to aid UN missions? Hell, why are we even IN the UN? Why do people favor the idea of a global police force?

The UN is just an extension of the League of Nations, a "good in theory, bad in practice" idea from the one and only Woodrow Wilson, one of the many candidates for "worst president ever", who gave us such great ideas as income tax, the Federal Reserve, and unnecessarily entering WWI (google "blame Wilson").

  • You sound like one of the Ron Påul supporters mentioned in the video, so here is my advice for you:

    1. Take a cold shower.

    2. Get some political opinions that match the real world, insteaad of the pseudo 19th century ones you have constructed inside your head.

  • "You sound like one of the Ron Påul supporters mentioned in the video..."

You sound like someone devoid of any ideas, unable to make a point without making ad hominem attacks.

  • People favor global police force for the same reason they favor local police force.

Without a police force everyone carries a submahinegun, shoot outs occur every day and no one exists to track down the rapists and serial killers.

  • "People favor global police force for the same reason they favor local police force."

It's not the same thing. Nations have sovereignty, something which cannot exist with a global police force.

"Without a police force everyone carries a submahinegun"

So the only reason you don't carry a machine gun everywhere you go is that there are police stopping you from doing so?

What about corrupt police? Who stops the global police once they become under the control of a tyrant like Hitler?

  • I'm pretty sure we won't be giving Iraq money. I'm not saying it was great for them getting bombed, but considering that we are in debt trillions of dollars and they have a $70 billion dollar surplus, I think they will be okay financially as a country . . . until oil becomes obsolete anyway.

  • Some paid killers are more ethical than others?

  • Sure! You account for motive and codes of conduct.

Soldiers are technically paid killers, but U.S. Army personel tend to be more ethical than Blackwater Mercenaries.

Abu Grab was committed primarily by "military contractors" a.k.a. mercenaries. Only those in the U.S. military were held accountable.

  • But does that really depend on the individual killer or is that a question of the organization's rules and regulations? or maybe the leadership of the organization?

Fundamentally, if someone is willing to kill for money...

  • What makes you believe that any person is any more ethical than they absolutely have to be or directly benefits them?

  • Nothing, I do not believe that anyone is more ethical than they "have" to be. Some people get more pleaseure from helping and being nice to other people.

That is why I do not support the troops any more than I support the terrorists, post office workers, teachers, drug dealers, or homeless.

  • The War of 1812.

  • The national security of the US was not even threatened by the Soviets, who were terrified of the American government and never really thought of attacking unless it was purely in defence... and not even preemptively, at that!

  • Yo momma so stupid

When i asked her for change

She told me to vote for Obama

  • "Income redistribution"?

  • Glad to see Kokesh and Fleetwood together. Partisan politics is wholly irrelevant when corporare fascism has taken over.

  • Good job veterans and David Fleetwood, Ralph Nader, and all us fringe people!

  • word! great vid. obama is a tool.

  • amen to that!

  • Sounds like Mr. Obama got the script read to him when he visited the Bilderbergers this summer. Ever since, his promises have gotten somewhat hollow.

I'd go back to the Civil War, but even then, the South would have happily let the North continue with their half of the Republic. You make a good argument for saying the military campaigns by the USA have never been necessary.

  • i lived in the states from 1999 to 2005 and no one forced me to go to irak or afgan...

if you are (or where) there is because you signed to wear a uniform and carry a sidearm to "defend". but once you are "in" you follow orders of the commander in chief, so stop whinning if you are send to some CoUNTry for a stupid reason, remember you signed and that is the only stupid reason why you are (or where) in there.

the sky is NOT falling, hermit...

  • Lalalalala.......Not listening to our own impending implosion......lalalala.

  • Awesome.

  • Just as ammendments are made to the constitution they should have one made for this holiday and change it to "Civil Adolesent day." This day would honor the men and women who remain in Civil Adolesences by giving their power away every four years. Thinking that one day out of four years accomplishes something. Then when we protest juxtaposed to the ideals of children having a fit we get spanked by big brother's minons and wonder why we cant have our way.

Grow up and vote at ni4d*dot*us

  • Leave IRAQ yes, Pay IRAQ no, We can't even pay people unemployement checks that people payed for in unemployement insurance all their life here in AMERICA. Yes you are morally right on this one but the Real American people need help right now.

  • you're a legend, dude.

  • when was the last war that U.S. military men and women died in and killed for where The national security of the United states was threatened?

I don't know...is it vietnam... just shows I know my history...

Or maybe it never happened before...we are all on the same planet...

  • Hmm...

    Look up the Vietnam War.

  • It was WWII, because of Japans bombing of Pearl Harbor. WTF is AMERICA doing.

  • "It was WWII, because of Japans bombing of Pearl Harbor. WTF is AMERICA doing."

Only if you assume that the US knew nothing about the attack.

I mean, using that logic, we could say the same thing about the Iraq war (almost), and in fact, that's what Bush tried to do.

9/11 really WAS a "new Pearl Harbor". The US government *wanted* to get into WWII, they just needed a reason.

  • why else would they park every ship in the pacific fleet in one place at the same time? Was it really one of the greatest tactical errors of all time?

  • I don't know if FDR knew whether Pearl Harbor was coming or not but I heard that he wanted a better economyout of it by going to war. I know alot about history.

  • Iwhitedove:Then in refelection, I somewhat agree...they bombed us over an embargo? Now, do I agree with the internment camps? No! Do I agree with what they did with american citizens here after 9/11 b/c they weren't necesarily born here? No!

  • "Then in refelection, I somewhat agree...they bombed us over an embargo?"

Correction: they bombed a military base. WE bombed THEM, if you remember all the Japanese civilians killed by our nuclear bombs...

  • man davis you're really on your game.

  • The greatest threat to the US Constitution is the "Patriot Act", something Obama voted for... Twice.

And I am a veteran against an unjust war.

  • no shit! here we go again!

    thanks for posting!

    xoxox

    skinnychef

  • my sentiment exactly Adam Kokesh

  • Thank you Veterans, who kill and do the bidding of others, with honor and other fruitless mental social morals and obligations. Heres to you fuckers who think Militarism is better then Diplomacy., FUCK YOU!!! and enjoy it

  • obama will fix it all up

  • That's a good question, Davis. Ever since Lincoln decided to declare war on his own country and prevent the southern states from leaving a voluntary union, the biggest threat to national security has always been the White House.

  • The first step in passive resistance against the new Marxist regime is always to remember one salient fact: Barack Hussein Obama is not the President of the United States, and Michelle is not the First Lady.

Barack Hussein Obama is NOT the President of the United States. He is an animal who has wandered into the Oval Office by accident and shit on the floor.

  • "The first step in passive resistance against the new Marxist regime..."

New Marxist regime... please. Obama is a moderate conservative.

  • I was about to say, "It's not your fault that you don't know any better as your profile says that you're only 26," but I *did* know better at your age, so you have no excuse. Read Obama's book so you can read about his heavy drug usage (he pats himself on the back for not using smack though) and his homosexual past with Larry Sinclair. I used to be a Conservative, so I know that's NO ONE'S definition of a moderate Conservative.

  • Really? How do you explain Bush, then?

  • Bush is no Conservative as he's merely a puppet of AIPAC and the Federal Reserve Bank gang of central bankers, which is precisely what Obama is, too. If you want the lowdown on who's what and why then check out Infowars net and give their radio show a listen.

  • I was talking about Bush's drug use.

  • Obama's both a puppet for bankers and a "Marxist"?

I'm no Obama supporter, but you sound like an idiot.

  • "Obama's both a puppet for bankers and a "Marxist"?

I'm no Obama supporter, but you sound like an idiot."

Good, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this.

I even thumbed up the comment that said Obama and Bush were basically the same thing.

  • I wouldn't say Obama and Bush are the same thing. In terms of foreign policy they are similar, but in terms of domestic policy Obama is probably just another Clinton.

  • "I used to be a Conservative, so I know that's NO ONE'S definition of a moderate Conservative."

Do you have a brain? If so, then you are the one without excuse. politicalcompass. org shows clearly that the man is to the right of center (albeit rather slightly). You're just making wild accusations.

  • Moses H. Hitler on a raft, we were warned about the dumbing down of Americans in the mid 1980s and it's so horrific seeing the results. That's yet another thing George Carlin was right about.

  • "Moses H. Hitler on a raft, we were warned about the dumbing down of Americans in the mid 1980s and it's so horrific seeing the results. That's yet another thing George Carlin was right about."

So I take it you're another one of those dipshit baby boomers who preached peace and love until you grew up and sold out to become rich on the backs of your children.

  • Not even remotely close. In fact, I have been referred to as a "right-winged extremist" by liberal blowhards who don't know me and I don't care for Carlin's liberal politics, but he was able to get past the left-right paradigm whenever he'd bring up "the real owners of America" as his father explained to him at a young age how the world really works.

I hated the hippies, I don't qualify as a baby boomer and I am pensioned out as I injured my back (work comp) when I was still working for CDC.

  • "I have been referred to as a "right-winged extremist" by liberal blowhards who don't know me"

Ah, I see. You're a Fox News viewer.

"I don't care for Carlin's liberal politics, but he was able to get past the left-right paradigm whenever he'd bring up "the real owners of America" as his father explained to him at a young age how the world really works."

Carlin was right about a lot of things, but wasn't completely immune to bullshit, as most people aren't.

  • Wrong again as I cannot stand to watch any of the mainstream news as it's all owned by openly AIPAC-friendly types (Jews) or military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us against. Type in "Eisenhower military industrial complex speech" to YouTube and who knows? You might actually learn something.

The only time I might tune into the mainstream is to see what kind of spin they're putting on something or to see if they're covering it at all.

Nothing offense, but you're batting zero.

  • "Nothing offense, but you're batting zero."

Uh, "nothing offense", but you say you "used to be a conservative" and that people refer to you as "right-winged extremist". You must be using some sort of different political spectrum than the rest of us.

I don't watch the mainstream news either. I know it's consolidated, but more importantly, it's not news. It's opinion and fluff presented as news.

I'm not even disagreeing with much of what you're saying. However, Obama is not a Marxist.

  • "and that people refer to you as "right-winged extremist"."

Er, scratch that. I re-read your comment again and you were saying that they incorrectly labeled you as such. Apologies, I misread it.

  • Obama already destroyed our constitution with Patriot Act and FISA. Fuck OBAMA!

  • Obama is just another magic show. To quote Penn and Teller "Misdirection misdirection misdirection".

  • 1812

  • Iraq voted to kick us out in 2011.

Adam made a tiny mistake Obama wants 60k and 80k troops in Iraq until 2010, he'll probably try and extend that time line.

This is a war economy until Congress changes corporate personhood that's how it's going stay

And the only way to win in Afghn/Waziristan is to nuke it - otherwise it's an endless perpetual war, just ask the British and Russians

  • How do you intend on paying reparation to Iraq, we haven't settled with African & Native Americans yet

Big oil has already signed contracts with Iraq and they have more money than we do in Swiss Bank accounts, oil reserves not to mention the billions we gave them that's gone missing

Justice for Bush would be nice. We can call it even by having Big Oil get them up and running then leave, but I doubt that is how it will all go down in the end

  • Was Adam Kokesh forced to go into the military or did he volunteer?

  • "Was Adam Kokesh forced to go into the military or did he volunteer?"

Why is this always asked when veterans take a stand against the things they feel are wrong about the military? I'm tired of hearing this argument. A person is not required to shut their brain off just because they decided to join the military.

I'll tell you why many people join: either they're forced to (jail or military), they need money, or they want an education. My reason was number 2.

  • Nobody asked him to turn his brain off. I also put this comment on Mr Kokesh's Momma Momma video. He joined the military on a volunteer basis. He is VERY entitled to his opinion to being against the war. I was one of the first to put a we want revenge sign in my car after sept 11th. NOW I REALIZE I WAS WRONG! The military didn't do anything to him. he cant portray himself, especially in that video as a victim of circumstance

  • How was he portraying himself as a victim of circumstance? You're talking about the above video, correct?

My point is that people tend to join the military PRECISELY because of their circumstance. Many of the people I knew couldn't afford an education without joining. They are also deceived by recruiters who only care about upping enlistment numbers.

MANY people find out that the military isn't what they expected it to be, and have a serious problem with doing what they are asked to do.

  • Straight to the point, 0% bullshit, that's what I like.

Love your videos, keep it up!

    Kind regards.

  • you stay in and i am leaving, but I will be back to watch your great videos.

  • Can we use our forces to prevent genocide? What if a country violates the sovereignty of another country? Were we wrong to try to help out in Somalia? Were we right to let the Rwandan genocide happen? A million people were hacked apart by machetes by their neighbors. Just another civil war we had no business getting involved with? If none of those questions give you pause, then I suppose the possible escalation of violence in Iraq once our military is gone won't give you pause either.

  • AngryPirateProd look at it like this. There is a gang problem in Los Angles, Washington DC, and Miami. I want you to send your City/towns police force to go help fix it while you still pay for them with your taxes. Does that make sense? Or should you get with other city leaders and have them all donate 1 officer and make a taskforce. The fact is the things you list are very important. But, it is not our burden to bear.

  • And as far as Iraq. There would be any escalating violence if we hadnt invaded. Just remember how put Saddam in power. That country was in check and we screwed that up.

  • If there was gang violence on the level that local police couldn't handle it, then you have S.W.A.T. teams and the national guard. I see your point and America shouldn't be the world's national guard. That's the UN's responsibility, but as they are an ineffective organization, the US may have to play that part. I'm not saying I like it, but I think we should have been involved in stopping what happened in Rwanda.

  • "America shouldn't be the world's national guard. That's the UN's responsibility, but as they are an ineffective organization, the US may have to play that part."

Your first mistake is thinking there should be a worldwide police force. Or, perhaps it's not a mistake at all, and you'd prefer to see the destruction of sovereignty. I don't know, because there ARE actually people out there who feel that way.

  • If genocide is occurring, the US should not stand idly by and let it happen because it's "not our business". To quote Jacob Marley after Scrooge said he was a good man of business: "'Business!' cried the Ghost, wringing its hands again. 'Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business.'" I can't believe that the US should do nothing when civilians are being slaughtered.

  • "If genocide is occurring, the US should not stand idly by and let it happen because it's "not our business"."

Unless we are specifically asked, then I think we have no right to occupy any other country.

"I can't believe that the US should do nothing when civilians are being slaughtered."

It's kind of like not buying that HDTV that you can't afford. You know that it would be nice if you could buy it, but common sense says you can't. We need to take care of our own country first.

  • Who has to ask? The government? What if the government is killing people? The citizens? Sometimes they're doing a fair bit of murder themselves. Sometimes they're too busy fleeing to phone or e-mail a request for some help. I think it's fair to say that if 100,000 Congolese are fleeing systematic rape and murder in their own country then we just might want to lend a hand. And it's not like an HDTV. Human life is not a luxury.

  • For perspective on what a million deaths looks like, that's slightly less than the US casualties in WW1, WW2 and the Civil War combined. (About 100k, 400k and 500k respectively)

  • "slightly less than the US casualties in WW1, WW2 and the Civil War combined. (About 100k, 400k and 500k respectively)"

Your numbers are a bit off. My research gives me about 117k, 418k, and 618k, and those numbers are a little conservative (point being you don't even need to add WWI in to get to a million).

  • I messed up the Civil war count when I added the union and confederate casualties. They separated combat casualties from non-combat deaths and somewhere in there, I lost 100k. I still think my point is a valid one.

  • In WW2 was the last time the national security of the United states was threatened. After we defeated Japan. America got the idea that we shall never again allow this to happen. So now we are the caretakers of the world. Our blood spilled so suit our leaders needs not our security. Did Korea, Vietnam, Israel, Iraq (both times), and countless other missions protected us from attack? No. Its us ramming our rules down other peoples throats.

  • Some might argue that the cool war was the last time of security was threatened. We help provoke that issue. We built nukes, they built nukes, we built more nukes, they built more, we started flight planes with nukes, and they went to Cuba with nukes. It was less of a security issue then it was I have the bigger dick complex. This created a self-imposed security issue.

  • "It was less of a security issue then it was I have the bigger dick complex. This created a self-imposed security issue."

Anything to keep the masses too busy to realize what is going on. Oceana has always been at war with Eurasia, remember? Just like Palin didn't abuse her powers as governor, and America has to fight terrorists abroad. It shocks me the way that "important" people can be exposed and then just flatly deny the accusations, with the result being that nobody seems to care.

  • "WW2 was the last time the national security of the United states was threatened. After we defeated Japan. America got the idea that we shall never again allow this to happen."

But WW2 was not an actual threat. Japan attacks a military base, we drop two nuclear bombs on their country. If anything, we didn't just pose a threat, we did major harm. It was no coincidence that so many boats were docked simultaneously; Pearl Harbor was an excuse to enact the current foreign policy (as was 9/11).

  • as for the statement Obama made in '07 lol that was before he scored bigtime on freddie and fannie and made buccooo bux on the bailout.Money talks bullshit walks. • Bravo friend.

    and Thank You all...veterns.

    Jess

  • And when have you EVER said anything that was POPULAR, Davis?!

  • Amen, Davis.

I would also like to sincerely thank another group of servicepersons who often go unnoticed...

I have seen many interviews with servicepersons who speak VERY highly of their sergeant, chief, or commanding officer who happens to be secretly homosexual. Although the serviceperson speaking always first says that they themselves are straight, that this same sergeant, chief, or commanding officer is a fine example, a true leader, and excellent at their job. Thank you ALL.

  • Obama is not making the choices as to US or world policy, we just want to believe he is. And with regard to "swearing an oath", he knows he does not have to hold to the sworn oath since non of his predecessors had any regard for the oath. No, Mr obama is a worthy replacement for the mook he just replaced. All is status quo in the big 'house'. But why tell you all this, after all we already know. We just have to hope other people start understanding and talking about this with sense...

  • Davisfleetwood let me be the one who tells you you are right and your words are gosple truth.

  • The American Civil War...maybe.

  • I never know how to respond to your videos. Not sure why I had to say that.

  • Agreed

  • i'm not going to be crass and say "first" here :P
