  • Does anyone know where I could get full lyrics? Everywhere I've looked they only seem to have them up to the start of the second verse :S

  • So when will you people promote "I am the very model of a modern zoosexual."?

Animals speak body language, and some can give consent for sex, so why deny them the right to marriage? I know. TRADITION. You put tradition above love. Isn't that what you people say about Christians? lol

  • I thought this was hilarious, but the suggestions at the end killed it. ';f

  • This is a piece of crap.

  • @inflate98

    Heh, guess what /you/ are!

  • @therealcritic28 Uh, fluffy and adorable?

  • @inflate98

    Anything but. :)

  • @therealcritic28 Whatever you may think of me personally changes not one whit the ineluctible fact that this performance is godawful and the writing is without humor. It is, in short, a P.O.C.

  • @inflate98

Merely critiquing? Nevermind, I apologize, I thought moronic homophobia that is so often seen rampant on youtube was involved.

  • @inflate98 I speak as a heterosexual Gilbert & Sullivan fan - if you think the writing is without humour then you're either blind or German.

  • Ahh, what a show, I just have seen it in San Francisco and it is even funnier as the video. I hope the guys put some of the new stuff on youtube so you all can see what a wonderful show it is. I hope it is coming over to the West End London soon.

Gratulations to the extended run in San Francisco. I hope you go on and on.....

  • This is really funny :D high praise for the lyricist :)

  • Frankly I find it sad that people have to take something so innocent as a song by Gilburt and Sullivan and completely twist it around. But that's just my opinion - if people like this, that's fine with me. He did do a good job singing it! :)

  • @TheatreGeek711 Gilbert and Sullivan lyrics have traditionally been changed to include current topics - the original lyrics were themselves full of social comment. As for innocent - well, only if you don't perceive double entendre.

  • @TheatreGeek711 the savoy operas? innocent?

    umm.....

  • ROTFLMFAO !

  • It would have been funnier if he not only did it faster, he did it higher on the repeat!

  • what is this lyric at 1:50?

I decorate with tasteful sprays of flowers and dried ears of corn,

    ( . . .) and each version of "A Star is Born"

  • "And I claim full immersion in each version of A Star Is Born." Later changed to "And I would not be caught dead in an outfit I've already worn."

  • @DirtyLittleShowtunes

    Thank you

I coded a version with hard subtitles for my friends and I to enjoy. I actually thought it was "I take great aversion at each new version of a star is born"

I wasn't planning to upload it unless you want to see it.

I don't want to intrude on your view count, y'kno...

    Thanks again!

  • oh god, I am a gay guy and I APPROVE OF THIS! XD That was GREAT!

  • this is amazing very clever and smart lyrics

  • ohso are there actually some nice guys who wanna chat with mi

  • humsearching for a guy that would treat me well

  • This is so Awesome!

  • Brilliant, shame that the homophobes are so preoccupied with other mens genitalia and what they do with them.

An excellent modern take on a classic.

  • Well done! Screw them Pirates!

  • Genius...fantastic fun, i laughed all the way!

  • Genius!

  • Hey, is the full version of this on YouTube somewhere? :) This is hilarious! And I agree with previous commenters: Brilliant lyricist! lol :)

  • Brilliant!

  • Original comment's gone so I have no idea if you're just being ironic or not. That being said, when will people get it that it's not a matter of choice ? Sexual orientation is settled by the age of 6, sometimes even before birth.

Monkey see, monkey do is a load of misled christian tosh and ignores every serious psychological study that has been conducted on that matter in the past 25 years.

Would you people stop it already or, if you insist on spreading ignorance, just take it elsewhere?

  • gayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy aaaaye ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyye aaaaaaaye ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

  • is there somewhere i could find this song without the laughing in the background??

  • Hilarious! LMAO! Thanks!

  • This is just so clever, it makes me jealous of the lyrical skill.. and to think I found this looking for the original- just good luck.

  • Hello there; I know who you're referring to, and you're right; he is a dead-ringer! Mannerisms, facial expression, everything... *LOL* It is a little scary...

  • too funny

  • Too funny! Some of the lyrics are incorrect however...

  • Very clever and hilarious, well done!

  • its not boston trip its hawaiin trip or howeva u spell it

  • no way is that niles crane

  • Format the lyrics. please :)

    This is so funny :P

  • I think it says 'while planning my Hawaiin trip' instead of 'planning out my Boston trip' in one line.

Also, could you format the lyrics so that they're easier to read? Thanks. Great take on the song, anyway.

  • lol

  • I loved every second! Fantastic

  • Genius. Pure genius

  • Haha very cute! I wonder if there is a cast recording or anything available? I'd love an mp3, but it's hard to hear him over the audience at times. :3

  • If you ever find one, let me know! Apparently this was never released commercially. But I want it : / and the audience is loud, loud loud.

  • Haha, I love this song, but who is the main guy? He's goddamn hot!

  • Well done good work excellent performance you can tell the audience really enjoyed it lots of talent :-)!! Thanks for posting:-)

  • That was great! Thanks for posting this. A lot of hard work went into that. Heck, I don't know if I could memorize all that and say it that fast! Love it. :)

  • this is quite hilarious.

  • I ADORE Gilbert and Sullivan. I'm certain they'd be proud. Well done.

  • the lyrics written are changed slightly?

  • So hilariously overdone. i LOVE it! Said modern homosexual reminds me strikingly of Rita Skeeter...

  • i really really love this. i may post a link of it being done on stage from another performance if i can get my director to approve it

  • Fantastic!

  • Very good as a piece of stage work, although it highlights all the modern gay stereotypes that are completely wrong in the main.

    Just my opinion.

  • True, the stereotypes are wrong, but it's still fun to laugh heartily at them.

  • meh.. . yes and no.

It highlights stereotypes, yes, but it was compiled/composed/arranged by homosexual men who were - in my opinion - doing it to show how silly those stereotypes ARE. I mean, I know a LOT of openly gay people, and 99% of them are NOT like this, because this is such flagrant hyperbole. They're using extremity to show how silly it would be to think that all homosexuals are like this, because they're obviously not!

  • Just wonderful! I love G & S too!

  • wonderful!!! damn clever

  • Hahaha, I loved it.

  • This is fabulous. Well played!

  • yes that was awsome, I like the original but this so out does it. I'm amazed at there talent to rewrite the whole song to the same music ^^

  • ... oh my god. This is unreal. XD

  • oh my god, i pissed myself laughing, this is so good!

  • oh my god simple amazing!!!!

  • wow. That guy looks just like my next door neighboor. And the lyrics...they describe him. Huh...

  • Brilliant words and performance!!!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • hilarious darlings. Makes me want to make my own parodies :)

  • "SOMETIMES INTO S&M, AS LONG AS IT'S CONSENSUAL! I'M CLEVER WITH THE CRUDITÉS, ESPECIALLY ASPARAGUS ... AND I IGNORE REPUBLICANS WHENEVER THEY DISPARAGE US!"

Brilliant. I may be straight, but that ahd me in stiches

  • The lyrics, especially the acting, is priceless! Kudos to all of you. I love this! and I'm a straight guy.

  • Freaking great.

  • THIS.

    IS.

    AMAZING.

  • that so cool

  • reminds me of "bathhouse, the musical." too funny and clever!!

  • F... brilliant

  • BRILLIANT!

  • "When I'm in a gay bar I know I'm the biggest bitch in there"

    Ha Ha ha!!!!!

  • Controversially hysterical and wonderful. I loved this....any more?

  • Please disregard my previous comment telling the person to go away! It was a failed attempt to reply to qptqpt! I have nothing against gay people! Some of my closest friends follow the lifestyle. My problem is with Bible-thumping homophobes. I really loved this video. I laughed long and hard whilst watching it.

Unfortunately, I can't delete my previous comment, so there's nothing I can do! :(

  • Nice. :D

  • the best line was "binge and perjury"!

  • Loved it, loved it, loved it :)

  • the man in the rainbow top is FINE.... Can i hav his number??

  • Gilbert and Sulliven would laugh their nuts off

  • OMG! It's like Sondheim wrote it. Friggin' BRILLIANT!!!!

  • I thought it was John Waters for a moment.

  • that was THE BEST parody i have EVER HEARD. thank you so much for the post

  • *beams!* This was absolutely wonderful! So well done and so bright and funny! Thanks for sharing it! :D

  • ... .... ...HAHAHAhAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! FRICKIN' EXCELLENT!

  • hahaha that's brilliant!!

those with the "this is disturbing" comments etc, you're only showing the homophobic in you, see it for the art it is, instead of looking for a place to show your negative outlook on anyone who's different.

  • HILARIOUS!

  • Very well done :D

  • i love this

  • "In short as a good looking, good at cooking, intellectual

I am the very model of a modern homosexual"

...must be as true and witty a couplet as anything written by Noël, Quentin or Oscar. Quite wonderful. I'm glad I stumbled across this, it is fantastic.

  • You go girl:-D.

  • BAHAHAHAHA! that was pure greatness!

  • this is...disturbing.

  • Genuine question: why?

  • ... that was a question for Pope Russian btw

  • Genuine answer: Because we can.

  • Stop! I think I see where we are getting confused. When you said "orphan", did you mean "orphan" -- a person who has lost his parents, or "often", frequently? I was asking poperussian why he found it disturbing :-)

  • I am not usually an orphan. Why do you ask?

  • I'm not an orphan, and what's more, I never was one

  • Now, that was fun :D

  • lol cool . . .

  • OH MY GOSH hahaha that was awesome this would be so great as an mp3 pro-done, without crowd and such.
