Even though the score was 70-3, this WAS NOT a case of running up the score. CU just flat quit. They're lucky it wasn't 170-3. I can't remember the last time I saw a team go up and down the field at will on someone like that. Barnett had simply lost his team and indeed was fired after this game. That scandal just destroyed that program and it still hasn't really recovered.
