as far as i know, he lived in lala musa. A relative of ours and friend of Alam lohaar sahab used to live in aalam lohar street. Also Alam lohar used to come to our street in jhelum to visit a famous punjabi poet Jogi Jhelumi. And as far as every one told me and from my child hood visits to lala musa, I have always been told and shown the house where Alam lohaar used to live. Oh and Inayat hussain bhutti is from jhelum too. He lived closed to Jogi jhelumi house too :)
you are very right altaf, but hes better then a lotta other losers in pak punjab, at least he tries even though he pretty much sucks at what his father was best at.
Definitely tarnished the image of his [late] father, Arif knows he can't do justice to folk legends, rustic ballads and other poetry from the Punjab. He just has'nt got what it takes to be a true spiritual traditional folk singer, like his legendary father the one and only Alam Lohar.

Langrial is about 2 miles from Kotla, Punjab. he and his father performed there cos its their neighborhood

@ Wasapnpuria.....actually he's not from Kotla.....though not too far from there.
his origins are 'Ahch Goch' (i think thats spelt wrong), which is not too far from Kotla.
his family then moved to Laala Musa, which again is about 20 mins from Kotla by car.
here (your vid) he's performing in 'Langrial' (its on the Poster behind him).
Thats the Village my Folks are From. he's performing here about 20 meteres from our place in Langrial, at a wedding.
i wish i was there at the time.

this was at a wedding and he was singing right next to our house.
i wasn't there at the time but i heard it was amazing.
he can never be like his Father, but he still has his moments.
