Nice boat, but, seems like it barks more than it bites. I use that analogy cause its kinda a dog. Look at some videos on Youtube, you will see alot of cheaper and much quicker boats.
This is a single engine boat that runs mid 60's, weighing well over 3 tons with a full tank. I POST videos of vehicles that I actually own, drive and ride in. I don't need to watch youtube videos to learn about the subject. I live on the water and ride in all types of boats everyday- performance, bow riders, cats, you name it. Post some videos that illustrates your vast knowledge of watercraft and then you can comment on some of mine. People don't buy Cobalts because they are cheap and fast.
@jawaring I could not agree more, here in Australia my father and I were shopping for a new bow rider and the matter what angle you looked at cobalt boats were far superior, the quality is amazing. People like dacoconutcru obviously have not experienced the legacy of owning a cobalt.
um...first it's a 27ft boat that weighs almost 3 tons therefor it takes alot to get it moving you probably wouldn't want it with less then the 425hp big block that it has, they offered it with a big 525hp 502 racing motor but they didn't sell alot of those with that engine as it was a additional $40,000
I have that engine in my 242 WSS, it is super torquey for a great hole shot, and even without Captain's Call, it sounds amazing after 4k RPM!

jawaring, do you have it coupled to a bravo 3 or bravo 1? I have a cobalt 240 with the 496 HO. Best boats on the water.

Cobalts are not meant to snap your neck on the hole shot. It is smooth as silk and will fly up top.
