@kaka88z It has a single player mode, but you will need an internet connection as well. It's basically to prevent cheating, but being online will give you access to some great services.

@ff7masta why not then just make a single player mode without internet connection, there will always be cheating good example of that is star craft. im just saying it makes ALOT more sence to put in a single player mode instead of always being connected to the internet, not everyone has a good internet connection some dont have it at all.

you cannot play Diablo 3 without an internet connection you must ALWAYS be connected to server, so what if you have a crapy internet connection? what if you dont have internet?

what if you have a laptop and the wifi card isnt working? what if you only have so much downlode speed at one time?

Blizzard says to this, "It’s kind of the way things are, these days. The world of gaming is not the same as it was when Diablo 2 came out" your damn straight its not

Blizzards is cutting out all the gold farmers and making the gold Bind On Pick Ups, so you would have to buy the company's gold from its endiess generator. And there is no SOLO PLAY without connecting online. Save your money and buy Star Wars: Empire At War for $9.98 at Wal-Mart. At least you can play offline without register online.
