  • I love how George's legs are completely immobile beneath the drums.

  • This is the end of 25 torturous years of having this song stuck in my head, not knowing where it came from, YouTube amazes me for the 974366th time. The battle is finally laid to rest. I can die in peace now.l

  • @kasteman1 Okay...this song has been stuck in my head since I was a kid. i look forward to passing it on to my kids. LOL.

  • @kasteman1 I had this song in my head too one day and then I found it on Youtube!

  • @kasteman1 I just had a very similar experience. I've had this song stuck in my head for as long as I can remember, and have no idea where I heard it. Life makes sense now. Thank you YouTube.

  • TRUE: my girlfriend said to me today "epp opp ork ha ha" and i was like "what?" and she said

  • hey MIKE.. this is for U..<3 Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah... <3

  • Wow, it's amazing how the music of the future sounds almost exactly like the music from the 60's

  • @TheseApples I guess that gives music lovers hope that music will sound good again in the future.

  • OKay sorry to say, but that is probably the worst song ever ;) the only reason i listened to it was well because of Starship! ;D

  • lmao!!!

  • OMFG i remeber this i knew i knew the refrance in starship XD

  • OH MY GOSH. I REMEMBER THIS.

  • Though I do love Starkid, it really irritates me - maybe this is juvenile and ridiculous, but whatever - that most of the fandom thinks Eep Opp Ork Ah-Ah is FROM Starship.

  • @damechastain No, you're right...it IS irritating. lol

  • Eep Opp Ork Ahh Ahh to all the Starkids :)

  • Starship

  • STARKIDS ARE HERE, only I knew it came form here first, BUT STILL

  • Randomly singing this at work yesterday..wondered if it was on youtube XD

  • Eep opp ork ah-ah to you too!

  • Holy shit it's been ages since I even thought about The Jetsons.

  • @VGRetro It isn't nice to say the "A" word. This video is good, though.

  • omg throoowwwwback

  • Zoom, Dad, zoom!

  • Can I just say that, for a show that has very limited animation, they take every bit of advantage with it and make it kick ass! And if you agree, but no one believes you, you only have to show them this clip. This is a very trippy, but catchy song, and it's just great to hear that people call it a classic. I certainly do.

  • this was my shit back in the day!!!

  • Fantastic, I was looking for that episode for years ... This song stayed in my head since childhood. I love that part! Thanks for posting this video ... = Fantástico, estava procurando esse episódio a anos... Essa música ficou em minha cabeça desde criança. Amo essa parte! Obrigado por postar esse video...

  • The Violent Femmes cover this song on the CD "Saturday Morning Cartoons' Greatest Hits".

  • watch this stoned ..the best

  • aidajbbaborka

  • I have been trying to find Jane singing "Won't You Fly Home, Bill Spacely" when she is a contestant for "Miss Universe", but no one seems to have it.

  • Best! Song! Ever!

  • Yup, Howard Morris, a.k.a ERNEST T. BASS on Andy Griffith Show

  • Why would people hate this song? It's a classic!

  • They actually did a disco remix of this song for HB's short-lived 1979 series Galaxy Goof-Ups.

  • @WhatsAYak yeaaahhhh I remember that! lol

  • its a hilarious song omg i was just idding when i typed this in the search bar omg they actually have this LOL LOL LOL omg u dont know how LOL i feel right about now

  • Seriously, this song sucks and it's annoying.

  • @FIIXER If it sucks and is annoying..why the fuck are you watching it...you're an idiot

  • @LilGrey456 Now that's stupid logic... Think about what you just said...

  • @FIIXER GO fuck yourself..

  • @LilGrey456 Can't prove your point without resorting to personal insults, huh?

  • THE MEMORIES, THEY BURNNN!!!!!11

  • I can see this turned into a even more badass remix...js

  • I am willing to wager that the Reverend Horton Heat can make an even more kick ass version of this song!

  • "Hop on, baby, I'll put in orbit!"

Is it me or is that really suggestive?

  • Not so ladythatsmyskull. Archies were much better in any song done than this one. Sugar sugar better than this. this song was just a very simple little ditty for a 1/2 hour cartoon, and that's all it was. Sugar, Sugar, although it was for Archie it was also a 1/2 cartoon in the latter part of the 60s. It was a much bigger hit than that song ever was. This Eep Opp never made from animation into the main stream, but Sugar, Sugar rank number 1 on the pop charts for 4 straight weeks in 1969.

  • Haters are wack asses. Be-gone!

  • i found this listening to the album that had the theme song to Killer Klowns was in, and for some reason found this...then, watching this video i realized I remember this from when i was like 4

  • hahahahaha oh the memories!!! I was only 6 or 7 when I saw this commercial all the time after watchin the jetsons hahaha still rocks!!! and im 22 now!! hahahaha

  • love this song :)

  • OH MY GOD. I REMEMBER THIS.

  • I love the highly stylized character design and limited animation in this segment, especially during the guitar solo. This was Hanna-Barbera at its best in the early 1960's, and is why their cartoons were so wildly popular (and still are). Stuff like this was never seen on TV before, and captured the "Googie" Space Age graphic style of the period. It still holds up nearly 50 yrs later. Keep in mind this was all done with ink and paint, not computer graphics.

  • They tried to bring the modern-art inspired animation back with stuff like the Powerpuff Girls. The difference is that today's animators just aren't as talented as those in the 50s and 60s. One animator told me that the rise of the computer as a tool in animation has resulted in a loss of skill to some extent.

  • Respond to this video... sweeet! go george go! and cute triplets! ^^

  • George has chops.

  • that singer is ernest t bass from andy griffith

  • this sounds like something theyd play on some freak radio station with all abstract stuff on it

  • As much as I love animation, and I do, people have to come to terms their childhood being gone and can't really complain about something that isn't supposed to appeal to them after a certain age. I enjoyed watching Nickelodeon in my early teen years but I'm way out of their target age now so the channel being bad or good is irrelevant to me at this point, or at least it should be.

Same goes for anyone complaining about Cartoon Network, If you're old enough to remember Toonapalooza, move on.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHA@KAPLANMAN09!!!!

  • The first time I saw this was on "Toonapalooza". That was a program that aired various cartoon-related music videos. Ah, those were the days when Cartoon Network was actually GOOD! Nowadays, it's gone downhill.

  • Elroy's still pissed that they stole his secret code :-D

    Thank you for posting.

  • awww I remember this. lol Thanks for posting.

  • George is killin it on the drums !!!!

  • "Hop on baby, I'll put you in orbit!" Now that I'm older, I finally see the adult themes subtletly placed into childrens' cartoons.

  • I thought this junk came from "The Flintstones". It's in my head, and I can't get rid of it.

  • OH WOW MEMORIES!!! It's actually been 14 years since I seen this. I'm suprised to even find this.

  • I wonder if this is where the writers for Phineas and Ferb got the idea for "Gitchi Gitchi Goo." Both are really good songs though.

  • @XAJanaeX I thought the exact same thing as soon as I heard "Gitchee Gitchee Goo"! the animation here might be the best 2 minutes HB ever did. Also, Jet Screamer was on Andy Griffith ya know..well, his voice actor was. Played Ernest T. Bass.

  • POP ART

  • I'm just impressed that George can drum with his eyes closed like that.

  • @wongleebruce

He doesnt even know he is drummin... he just thinks he is beating the hell out of Mr Spacely with two sticks.

  • Eep opp ork ah-ah. And that means I love you.

  • @Kaplanman09 BAHAHAHAHA

  • @Kaplanman09 Lol Stepbrothers reference xD

  • Lord, It makes me feels like Disney stole some lyrics from this song.

  • Wasn't the lyrics to this song some sort of secret code made by Elroy and somehow Judy used it for some contest?? Can't remember

  • @gmccord1970

That's right. Elroy did, but Judy helped him so he didn't mind.

  • @gmccord1970

  • @adaminmarietta Thanks

  • George was a kick ass drummer, but his feet didn't move at all! I wondered if he pulled an Exorcist when he did the 360???

  • I'm not a major Jetsons fan but this was always one of the episodes that just stuck with me. Its a catchy tune! Cartoon Network used to show this as a music vid.

  • I double decker delta goodram dare someone to watch this bent.

  • THIS SONG HAS RUINED MY LIFE
