  • mowgli sounds so wimpy when he jumps across the lava.

  • i dont care if shanti got eaten. she annoyed me in the first movie. Mowgli should haven't off showed hisshelf.

  • I hope the dialouge was sumthing like this;

    Rogen: SHERE KHAN!! :C

Baloo: Shere Khan? oh I'm gonna kick his freaking tiger-butt!

  • 'Oh your going to try and outrun me...' I keep on wanting to finish his sentence and say 'I'm a freakin tiger you dumbass, I can run faster than you'

  • I was afraid that he was going to fall to his death in the lava, but he survived!

Then I believed he got crushed :( But he lived once again!

But then he was stuck with a goofy british vulture...

  • Walter Sobchak is Baloo in this film

  • @pixargod Actually it's John Goodman

  • @IanXPikachu

You've never seen the big lebowski to understand my reference? I was pointing out that John Goodman was the voice of baloo but instead I mention his character from the big lebowski.

  • Tony Jay was a great replacement for George Sanderson from the original.

  • I close my eyes for these scenes and imagine Frollo instead. XD

  • whoever can't hear this, just higher the volume 2 full blast. that's all the help i can give 2 u

  • I was so scared a bit there because I though Shere Khan died QQ

  • My Uncle Frollo fell into a fiery pit too. They're very deadly.

  • 6:00 iiiiiit's mini-Esmeralda time!

  • I don't know crap about this movie, but at least it has better animation than most of the sequel idiocy and the hot evil voice of Tony Jay. That makes it worthwhile.

  • @IlluminatedRain I believe Shere Khan's roaring vocals were done by Frank Welker

  • Shere Khan is my favorite villain

He is so suave, sinister and very sadistic

  • Out of all the disney villains that died, Shere Khan has the worst death ever. Scar gets eaten by hyenas, Frollo falls off a building into a fire, Ursula got speared by a ship while by shocked by lightning being turned into fried calamari, Clayton accidently hung himself in vines, and Maleficent got slayed by a magic sword right in the heart. Shere Khan dies a slow painful death by being cooked in a head with no food or water while Lucky, which he supposed to be dead tortures him by punning him.

  • Poor Sher Khan, he's going to die a slow painful death by being stuck in that head with no food or water while being tortured by Lucky.

  • Tony could easily have done Scar just as good as Jeremy Irons.

  • Was that lucky at the end making fun of SherKhan? I thought he got killed earlier.

  • Bagheera. Baloo...what, what is meaning of this?

    Baloo. Mowgli's in trouble!

    Rah gen. Shanti too!

    Bagheera. who's Shanti?

  • Tony Jay is the only good thing about this movie.

  • 3:30-3:33 bagheera sounds like some one from Land before time for some reason.

  • @apeycamelus Bob Joles probably voiced someone on Land Before Time

  • @DisneyMan1993 makes sense.

  • wow both khans sound so alike. disney did a great casting there

  • i didn't know Shanti and Rah gen could here animals talk

  • @poprocks360360 maybe the animals can talk human but wont to humans

  • I have a fanwritten cliffhanger ending to the movie. The impact of the fallen tiger head is enough to create a very small crack that the audience doesn't see. After the real end of the film, the tiger head starts to sink. The whole thing, Kahn still trapped, topples sideways, creating a big enough hole to provide Shere Kahn an escape. He narrowly avoids death, then jumps from rock to rock to get to the cliff, which he climes up and out of the pit, setting the stage for a 3rd film...whaddyathink?

  • Shere Khan has eaten Frollo! :O

  • hmm! the bears voice is the voice on toy story

  • 3:24 Bagheera's gasp.

  • Oh i love Shere Khan!!! <3 so evil and sexy!!

  • AND HE SHALL SMITE THE WICKED AND PLUNGE THEM INTO THE FIERY PITS OF-

    *falls*

  • @Blakkheim16 I know. Ironic since he voiced Frollo in Hunchback of Notre Dame.

  • You can't help but feel sorry for Shere Khan at the end of this movie. He's stuck in that stone head with an obnoxious bird to torment him. I'm glad he lived though.

And Tony Jay was the perfect Shere Khan after George Sanders died.

  • tony jay saved the film even though it was critically panned.

  • In the book, Shere Khan would have never been able to run after Mowgli like that, since he was lame. That 's why he was always hunting easy prey.

  • you know, after seeing this, it makes me ralize that even his less complicated parts were true masterpieces

  • REBOOT!

  • who plays as baloo? he doesnt really sound like the original.... but Tony Jay sounds better.....

  • john goodman plays baloo

  • the original Baloo died a long time ago

  • he was also the original O'Maley the alley cat, Little John

  • john goodman I believe

  • how the heck did lucky survive? I thought shere khan killed him

  • @Arthus850 No. He just roughed him up a bit.

  • This man was great,,,

  • strangely tony jay's voice in this movie almost sounds like george sanders

  • Jay's brilliant as Shere Khan. Too bad this movie is so horrible

  • This movie wouldve been better if Shere Khan had eaten Mogli, and then laughed a glorious Tony Jay laugh!

  • hmm. disney also has a thing for making tony jay fall into fiery pits.

  • disney has a thing for falling villains

  • RIP

  • is this from jungle book 2? it reminds me of jungle book 1 battle.... Anyway i play sher khan in my school play.....i think i am pretty good...for a girl

  • These voices of the characters are actually very different from the originals. George Sanders was amazing as Shere Khan.

  • tony jay had such a great voice. he could make even the lowest of villains sound sophisticated.

  • i thought shere khan die

  • Oh, he indeed dies... from starvation.

  • tony jay played shere khan on the second and on he original he was played by george sanders

  • The both sound too old for Shir Han's character. I can't belives they chose a similar voice instead of a perfect one. Oh, wait, they're americans, of course I can believe it.

  • all the other voices were totally different , shere khan is by far the best, its almost perfect.

  • hai naly202........not i only cant hear that...my doktor also cant hear maybe our pc got problem..thanks 4 teach us to how use the pccccc.............

  • can hear shit............but very funny la

  • maybe you'r deaf.

    err... joking. lol.

  • cant hear shit...

  • hey, you know, there's a little button on one of your loudspeakers. pls use it next time. ok?

  • no dude this is really low my volume was max and i could barely hear it just try reuploading it

  • @naly202 actually i have my speakers turned all the way up as well as the youtube one and the sound is still low

  • @Dirioctovarius dude i think the sound quality is fine so don't complain

  • lol "whos shanti?" bageerha cracks me up! (sry if i spelled his name wrong)

  • i think shere khan can get out of that if he maneuvers his way out and dodges the teeth of the statue. i know i could do that. that statue's mouth is like a maze.

  • i think he would not even need to get out of there, he would never get trapped. shere khan would jump over to the other side easy, without puting himself in jeperdy.

  • too bad bout tony jay, always a favoeite of mine, especially when i was a kid and he was megabyte

  • There's no way Shere Khan can get out :( I always loved Shere Khan, even ever since I was a kid lol

I love Bagheera too, I guess I just have a love for cats ^^

  • why not? after all, it's a Disney! in animation everything is possible, including a tiger to speack with tony jay's voice. loool

  • @lalatheviper Yeah i ike Shere Khan to shame he didn became better at the end :)

  • bagheera: baloo, be careful

i love baghera he is so cute! i really like the jungle book 2. i think it was one of the best sequeles ever made =)

  • how is it that shere khan can fall so far and survive, yet Mufasa in the Lion King can't survive a smaller height?

  • Mufasa got trampled by a stampede...

  • uh maybe because he was harrassed by the antalope

  • who plays bagheera? it sounds very much like the original

  • Sebastian Cabot from Family Affair played Bagheera in the original. He doesn't play Bagheera in this one.

  • tony jay doesnt play bagheera in anything. he plays shere khan.

  • I know Tony Jay plays Shere Khan in this film. You asked who played Bagheera in this film. Sebastian Cabot played Bagheera in the original film and Bob Joles played Bagheera in this film. I never said anything about Tony Jay in the last comment.

  • So is Shere Khan dead? There's basically no way he can get out. :P

  • hmm yeah that could be a problem but if lucky get to close he gets eaten. and sherekhan probabbly found away to escape from the 'head'and jumps up from the cliffs up.

but doesnt go to the village because he learned his lesson. well thats my theory.

  • well...shere khan didnt die from molten rock...

ANYWAY..I didnt know tony jay played shere khan!! it mustve been a must younger tony jay

  • he didnt die at all. he is just sitting there.

in the book he died. at the hands of mowgli himself.

  • well then he must've died of starvation..

    lol

  • nah i dont think disney would do that.

if you ask them they allready have an excuse ready.

  • that was a joke..

  • do you think he might have eaten Lucky. And I never knew that that guy from Tarzan: like Phill Collis or something; played as Lucky! Never wouldda guessed!

  • Cna sum1 tell me... i haven't sen jbook2 and well who does the little kid belong to? did Mowgli and that girl have a kid?

  • (sigh) no, that boy is mowgli's new brother and shanti is just their friend.

  • to be more explicit, the kid is the child of mowgli's adoptive family.

  • Tony Jay has a extremely good voice, but IMO, George Sanders was phenomenal as the original Shere Khan from '67.

  • Baloo? Strange voice in english! O_O

  • Its John Goodman as Baloo in the Jungle Book II.

  • Yes.

  • Im glad that more people remember Tony and his great voice actting! Hes in all of our childhoods! Megabyte, Frollo, The Elder God and Shere Khan one of his lasts work :(

  • yes, he's amazing!!!

  • Who is the Elder God?

  • One of the 'bad guys' from the Legacy of Kain series (video games)

  • Main antagonist from the Legacy of Kain

  • he also voice megabyte from Reboot

  • You know, the scary thing is that the little girl looks a bit like a young Esmeralda...and there's Frollo's voice all preying on her. Scary as hell.

  • She looks like her in a way, but the name of the girl is shanti.

  • @MaryHelsing

Also her voice actress Mae Whitman went on to voice Katara in Avatar: The Last Airbender

  • arnt people from india darker?

  • Wow, John Goodman made Baloo sound older. Tony Jay the best replacement for George Sanders. I bet Tony was Disney's first pick for Xemnas.

  • Tony has such an awesome voice.

  • It's Frollo!

  • indeed! lol!

  • Ive seen Jbook 2 alot I HAVE it but not JB1 plz put the battle of JB1

  • aw man what happened to the original Shere Khan??? I mean I love Tony Jay but the first Shere Khan voice WAS Shere Khan!

  • hmmm. died i believe.

tony jay also voiced Shere Khan in the jungle book inspired series Tale Spin.

  • 7:23-7:26 is the scariest.

  • lol, no movie is scary

  • Thanks for sharing! Tony Jay's amazing and we'll never forget his powerful voice.

  • welcome.

  • isn't it funny that shere kan and claude frolo both meet the chance of death due to molten rock

  • indeed! i was wandering he same thing. although jungle book doesn't actually end with shere khan dead. we may still hope in a mirracle. why not? it can't be more imposible than mowgli being saved while falling by baloo who is on the opposite part of the lava pot.

  • lol

  • how did they jump further than Shere Khan?? lol Ah well. It seems like it's a really cool sequel...i should try and find it...

  • LOOOL! THAT'S WHAT I ALWAYS WONDERED MYSELF TOO! especially the part in which they fall from the cat-statue-head, and are mirraculously caught by baloo who is on the other side of the "fiery abbys". lol!

  • hahaha, funky.

  • I miss the old disney movies. Today they don't even sing anymore. :(

  • OOOOHHH YEA!!! NOT TO MENTION THE SIMPLY DISGUSTING 3D ANIMATION! i can't stand it!

don't know, but they all have the same face and the same silly expressions! i'm not a total enemy of the 3D's (to tell the truth i enjoyed Shrek and Madagascar. but that was DREAMWORKS!!! not PIXAR!)

  • for me 2D is art! 3D is just ... technology! computer stuff.

oh, and one more thing i hate is the way the Disneys treated "pencil" 2D animators. 2d classical animation doesn't sell anymore... so kick them out! arghhh!

  • I do 3d modelling and it is art, you have to bascally sculpt the character from what you are given, it takes a long time too.

  • @naly202

I love pixar but traditional animation needs to come back.

  • I miss the 2D too... I don't hate 3D, but compared to the old Disney movies... It looks too simple! No soul!

I've never seen Jungle Book two, and that's why I apreciate theese clips. ^^ But two things bothers me: When did it start to grow Vulcanos in India's jungles?

And am I the only one that hoped that Bagheera should at least have SEEN Shere Khan in one of the movies...? I mean, they're both two big cats and it would have been dead interesting to see them meet each other.

  • I COMPLEATLY AGREE What the Heck happend to the "full score" movies :**(

  • Jungle Book 2 was I think the best sequal disney ever made. It was better because Shere Khan is in the movie more. Tony Jay was so fantastic, and Shere Khan is my favorite disney villian.

I think you should get ALL the clips from Talespin with Shere Khan in it, that'd be *awesome*. Each and every scene/shot with Shere Khan in it, wow.

  • i am working on a talespin/shere khan vid now! thanks for suggestion! my favourite disney villan is frollo. so, TJ. again)lol!

  • YAAAY! Thank you! Hopefully you'll be able to use *all* the clips with Shere Khan in it... or at least you'll be able to do some sequels of it. :) Thanks again!

...maybe someone should do a vid of Shere Khan singing that one song Frollo sang about Esmeralda. Why? For laughs, plus someone did that with 2 cartoon characters Tim Curry did.

  • Greatness :-)

  • Cheers for the clip, i was just having a discussion about Tony Jay on a forum, i had no idea that he was in the Jungle book. Truley a loss to have him pass away.

  • excuse me, what forum are you speaking of? is there a TJ forum or smth? thanks for the comment.

  • Oh, no, it wasn't a specific Tony Jay forum, it was actually a Video Game forum for Final Fantasy, and the discussion started when we were talking about Simon Templemans work on Final Fantasy XII, then progessivly onto Soul Reaver (also featured Simon Templeman) and Tony Jay. Sorry...

  • I greatly enjoyed this clip and the 2nd Tony Jay memorial; volume on this one was rather soft though. Keep up the good work in memoriam of this legendary actor.

  • wow! thank you soo much. i diddn't know how to manage volume at that time. i have started to aquire some new voice samples, and will upload soon.thanks.

  • OMG i didn't know Tony Jay passed away. he was so awesome as shere kahn.

  • HI! thanks for your comment! i guess you are the first around here! lol! pls check my other TJ. Mem s. too. i intend to upload as many TJ. voice samples i have.

Mr. TJ. passed away last year, august 18th. RIP.
