  • I like this style of handle wrap, it's very nice.

  • What is the name of the sword on the top?

  • @DamienISAAC1138 The sword called the Katsu. The item number is JH-3301 on thew website.

  • can such craftsmanship really cost under $100???

  • @cardonaman You can get this for $100 on a Katana if you provide your own material.

  • @SwordNArmory please forgive my ignorance but what materials would you need?

  • @cardonaman Nothing to forgive at all. Everyone has to start somewhere :). If the customer provides the ito and the sword then we charge $100 for the labor of wrapping. You can also purchse both the sword and the ito from our website and we will send out the completed sword to you.

If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us.

  • Hi Kevin ... By cutting the ito and rejoin it lower towards the kashira wouldnt that cause the ito to come lose at the lower grip over time?

wouldnt it be safer in grip (in respect to those who regularly tameshigiri harder targets ) to feed the other side of the ito down the center of tsuka as the menuki will cover it anyhow? please let me know... thanks

  • there's a musashi katana that has the sections of hineri maki but in the middle there's nothing. there's two ito on the handle, what's that called?

  • @FatGuyWithAKatana Do you have a link? I'm not sure I understand what you mean.

Is it like the sword from heroes? If so, I'd call it hollywood-maki.
