@TheJuuso944 I know, and I think that's stupid. The writers and director made the series about Barbossa, Will and Elizabeth, not just Jack. And suddenly everyone we knew was gone. Sure, Barbossa was there, but he was different, and I also mean personality-wise, not just him missing a leg. Everything seemed out of character and new characters weren't as complex as they used to be. And it's supposed to be after, not before the other films; Barbossa wasn't missing a leg in the other 3.

@DoYouFearDeath333 That is because there is no epic battle at the end... when the spanish stormed the fountain, there was no fight. It was just "hurry and get the drink!" Also, all the humor was just- Jack. No one else was funny. Finally, the whole cast was kicked, except for Jack. Hopefully, the next movie will be better :)

They got rid of everyone except for Jack, Barbossa and Gibbs, and those three characters will be brought into 5, but I don't think they'd bring back Elizabeth and Will. And unfortunately, they'll probably bring back Angelica.

@98brynja I don't think it would be wise to have him back when he's supposed to be the captain of the Flying Dutchman. "The Dutchman must always have a captain." I also didn't think it was wise to have Jack Sparrow still captain of the Black Pearl when we clearly saw him lose it again to Barbossa at the end of the third. Then again I though it was unwise to make a fourth one altogether.

It feels like they just stripped music from the first three and pasted them awkwardly. It's just weird hearing Beckett's theme while Blackbeard is frying a guy.

@VenomShock Yeah, the little thing that Davy plays in mourning of the Kraken was in a certain part as well... and I was rewatching AWE, and I realized they reused more music for OST, which had NOTHING to do with the other three, than they did in AWE, which is right after DMC.

I did, however, like a few pieces, like the Spaniard's theme. But they reused Lord Cutler Beckett for a lot of Barbossa and the privateers, which was stupid. It wasn't called the EITC's Theme for a reason.

@VenomShock Probably they wanted to write new tracks, but they haven't got enough money to finance everything. So they didn't brought back Hans Zimmer to write new music. They did a very few CGI and some remixed music. Maybe Disney testing Pirates, so if the producers can do the film with a little money and the views are unchanged, then they will keep Pirates and get more money to the sequel.
