  • @elisafim You don't want to do the same routine over and over again forever or it will become less effective. You also don't want to work the same muscle groups over and over without giving them a chance to heal. If your muscles aren't sore, you can do this 4-5 times a week, but remember to train your upper body as well.

  • Oh, and I wanted to ask you something! I've heard that these type of exersises make your legs longer! Is this true? I just wanted the opinion of a pro!

  • @LeFreakNina No it wont make your limbs longer, though when they slim out it may give them the appearance of being longer. It wont necessarily make you taller, either but it could possibly improve your posture, which again would give you the appearance of being longer and leaner.

  • @FitnessBlender Thank you so much for answering. I wantched the other videos and I think they're good as well. Can I do the Booty Shaper Workout - Glute and Thigh Exercises for a Bigger Butt and this one in the same day? Do I have to do it everyday or rest one day in between?

  • @Msminniepc No problem! You could but if you're doing all three rounds, you might want to do them on different days, maybe switch back and forth between them. You could add in a 30 minute cardio session with each video instead of doing them both, or you could move onto a video that focuses on the upper body.

  • Does this help to tone legs and butt? or is it to lose weight in those areas?, what would you recommend to start with if I want to tone my body and gain some muscle?

  • @Msminniepc You cannot lose weight in one area. This is for toning up the glutes and thighs. If you want to gain some muscle, check out the video we posted yesterday; the Booty Shaper for a Bigger Butt, or the Curvy Body Workout.

  • @angeICIA Hello! No, these exercises wont build size. They are great for slimming the thighs and hips, particularly when combined with cardio & healthy eating habits.

  • i've been a soccer player for my whole life, and now i'm quitting and i'm left with huge muscular thighs! i was wondering if there's any healthy way to slim them down to a normal size??

  • @juxaposed This would be a great workout for what your goals are. On the other hand, you should start doing what you can to appreciate your muscular thighs. There is this terrible mold that a very small portion of society wants to shove women into & it's typically way too thin & without any signs of strength...in reality, strength is beautiful & toned legs are far more attractive than sickly spindly ones. I'm done with my rant, long story short; try to love your strong, capable legs!

  • @carzychickx Stretch marks are their own demon, but if you work to keep your weight stable (no massive gains or losses), they will fade over time. The good news is yes, this workout can definitely help with a saggy booty! I would also recommend our "Butt Lift" Workouts, Booty Boot Camp, & more (look on our website under "glutes" for more).   • I have pear body curve. Is this exercise can help me to reduce fat at my thighs and butt?

  • @EqaSyuhada You can't lose fat in just one area, however, this routine can really help to tone that particular area. You have to reduce overall body fat % - for goals like yours I would recommend doing this video with one of our cardio videos, and eating a cleaner diet (if you aren't already).

  • @MsSama1996 If you do this 4-5 times a week, you should start noticing a difference in 2 weeks or so. Remember to mix up your workouts though, to keep muscles guessing.

  • I just did this and the brazilian butt lift workout... OMG it killed me!! Ive been looking for a really good workout for awhile now. Im so glad I found this!

  • @TheThechika It's okay, keep at it and it'll get easier. You know, "pain is weakness leaving your body", and all that jazz... just think of it as beating the crap out of your weakness ;)

  • I'm loving this! But I'm wondering if this a good video to do to work on inner thighs or is there a better one? That's where most of my fat seems to be and I've been having a hard time getting rid of it!

  • @ivatattoo Not necessarily. All of these exercises are toning focused & do not use much of the bodyweight (like a lunge does, as a contrasting example). And "muscular legs" are a good thing so don't get down on yourself.

  • Would this workout continue to help shape and tone even if it doesn't make you sore anymore? I've been doing it for about a week and it doesn't make me sore anymore and I was just wondering if it still works. Love this workout, thanks a lot!

  • @Spiral27 I would say that there is no harm or benefit lost in continuing to do this routine, but I would throw in some other stuff that works the same area in a different way. Good options would be the Brazilian Butt Lift, the "Butt Lifting Exercises" one, or even the 10 min Butt & Thighs. Keep those muscles guessing & you'll still get a little sore now and then (in a good way).

  • But, i clicked the link to see how many calories it burns, and i read like the information and stuff, but it doesn't say how many kcal... mind tellling me, i reallly want to know!

  • @yezz999 There's no way that I can answer that without way more information. This routine will build lean muscle, which takes up less room that fat (and does not jiggle!). If you eat healthily & have a well rounded workout routine & ample cardio, you can slim down allover but you can't spot reduce (lose weight in just one area). Focus on being healthy, fit & strong & be happy with the strong thighs that result!

  • WIll this make my bum any bigger? or since this is a slimming routine, make it tinier? DX I read that if you work out the fast twitch fibers, itll make them grow... really, i just want a work out thatll help my bum get bigger. XD advice would be greatly appreciated!! :3

  • @VitaaminDee It wont necessarily make it "tinier", it's going to tone & tighten, which, depending on your current body type, could make for a smaller bum. If you want a bigger bum, try the 20 Minute Butt & Thigh Workout or one of the "butt lift" ones. Hope that helps.

  • @iamclassi You can tell a difference in as little as 2 weeks with toning exercises like these. Remember, you need to mix up your workouts to keep them effective, and, you need to give muscles time to recover. I would recommend that you combine this with one of our cardio or jump roping routines, and maybe our upper body toning workout, too. -Kelli

  • I know the title suggests these exercises it's slimming, but I feel like my calves are bulky from an underlying layer of fat and the fact that I danced for 13 years, and I don't want them to get any bigger. Will these exercises burn the fat layer around my legs and possibly make my calf muscles slimmer? Thanks!

  • @JordanCostanza This routine would tone them (yes; possibly even slimming them), but it would not bulk them up. Remember that you can't reduce fat in one certain area without reducing your overall body fat.

For toning up (as you would doing the routine above), you should see a difference in as little as 2 weeks.   • @Godjesus1234 You can do this every other day, as long as those muscles aren't sore from a previous workout. If you want, you can always do upper body exercises on those leg "off" days. Go to our website & try the "20 Minute Home Upper Body Workout Routine" if you want an idea of an upper body routine that doesn't use much equipment at all. -K

  • For the rear leg exercise, I've been doing something similar with the only difference being I'm on my palms instead of my elbows. Is there a particular difference?

  • @Cuhlaraa The biggest difference is that when you do it from your elbows, instead of from your palms, you get a bigger range of motion with the leg that you are raising and lowering. Try it both ways back to back & you'll probably notice that from your elbows you get around an additional 12 inches to that lower & lifting motion.

  • @xxmissbabybooxx Yes that is normal. As your hip socket gets stronger it may go away and it may not. My husband has been teaching Mat Pilates for over 6 years and if there is a lull in the music you can hear his hips pop all the way across the room; especially when doing leg circles. There is no need to worry about that sound unless there is pain associated with it.

  • @xxmissbabybooxx Yeah you are probably looking at burning around 110 calories, then. If you want a higher calorie burn in a lower body workout, I would recommend checking out this workout of ours "Fitness Blender Butt & Thigh Workout - 20 Minute Bodyweight Workout", or maybe even the "100 Rep" one (sorry it doesn't let me include links!), just because the exercises are a bit more intense.

  • @xxmissbabybooxx The number of calories that you burn doing this routine depends on a lot of different variables, such as your bodyweight, muscle composition, gender & existing fitness level. But, I would estimate that a 140 lb woman would burn around 150 calories in this 18 minute routine.
