  • @fullbeans1 Did you write the code in a text editor or Web editor? Sounds like you may have written the code in the design view of an editor.

  • Thank you for your valuable video,

  • Is it easy to add google adsense ads to the website with dreamweaver ? is there a widget available or does one have to add the adsense ads into the html code ?

  • You should really rename this video as "CS3".

at 14:02, it's completely different in CS4, so I don't really know how you're able to get css text styles through the text bar..

  • Excellent tutorial, after struggling with Dreamweaver for a while and nearly giving up on it you have opened up a whole new world with this simple programme.

    Thank you.

  • Ok, i basically have this one page down. Does anyone know how i can add a BUTTON? Like that the top for the websites different pages? it's probably something so simple.

  • why my relative links do not connect each other?i can make work the absolute links, but when i do 30 relative links i can preview oine by one but i can not navigate from link to link.i have to click back and preview and so on. why?

  • Question: Do i use the hyperlink option when I want to link a word to another page I've built? Thats external like you said but how do i link the pages I've created together?

  • Yes but you need to "Browse" and choose the page from your computer (local site) and that will create an internal hyperlink.

  • one question...dreamweaver is 399.99$ and the SBI! you're always talking about is 299.99$ Why would someone pay for dreamweaver when you can buy SBI! and from wut i understand they help out alot more with getting traffic and just the whole setup..or at least thats wut you had said lol

  • Even though SBI! has a block builder that comes with your purchase, it is not nearly this advanced. Even though I use SBI! I still used Dreamweaver to do a custom design for my site when I got tired of my block builder design. Plus not everyone wants to use SBI!. For people who use regular hosts (which is the majority of people), they may need something like this.

  • Thanx this really helps a lot!! I had no idea you could do all that!!

  • Thanks a lot Lisa

    ;-)

  • Your work is so awesome! Thank you. And thank you for further help on Dreamweaver. I have the program & there it sits because I didn't even know where to start. God bless you & your work.

  • This video is really good Lisa, nice job!

  • Hi Lisa,

With DW you upload pages via FTP? So I wouldn't keep doing it via Site Build It anymore?

    Thanks very much,

    Valentina

  • Yes it does but SBI! does not support FTP. So you still have to manually upload your pages through Site Central (so they can analyze each page).

  • dreamweaver is very helpful for people that don't know html.

    i recommend this product :)

  • is this the whole setup..
