  • Are ferrets legal in Houston?

  • @williamvan23 Yes

  • Thank you .He has gotta a potty so I guess I get ferret litter . Thanks for everything also he bites on his cage a lot . I should get him more toys but he has a bunch he never plays with . The couple seemed nice they brought him lots of things to sleep in , and play with . perhaps he is just home sick for them.

  • @Tammiegate Nah, my rabbit bites the cage all the time, and we are the first owners. But she has toys, so I guess it's just natural.

  • I got one from craigslist and they said he was potty trained but he uses the bottom of his cage why is he doing this thanks. Please mail me if you know why he is doing this . I got him from another person thanks.

  • @Tammiegate when they said "potty trained" they meant litter trained. Ferrets are like cats but smarter. If they are trained to use litter boxes they will use litter boxes. But makes sure its for ferrets.

  • okay so i want to get a ferret.

but i have carpet.&a dog. i dont want the ferret to poop and pee on my floor.

  • mn? can u have ferrets in mn? minnesota?

  • @bethpachecoify when she bites...hold her by the scruff...or wait till they get older....trust me

  • I know, I corrected him every time xD

  • i love my ferret. i can't believe i lived so long without one. they are the best. they get high with you, they feel your pain...

  • do they need checkups? also, do they need to be spayed or nutared and how much is the total?

  • @MissMallyB

yes they need check ups but not all vets can or know how to so make sure the vet you use knows about ferrets first i go out of my way to our vet takes 20 min to get to but its worth it. and yes all jills that you are not breading need spayed because they stay in heat till they are alot of breeders keep a hop that had a visetimy so they can do it but not get the jills nocked up. and you can have them de sented too but most ferrets at a pet store are fixed and desented for you
