hi enkore, i am a big fan of urs, and love ur videos. and i have a question which is not related to this vid, if u could plz answer, i really appreciate it, i washed my mac and other brushes and first i soaked them in olive oil and then baby shampoo, and put them up to dry overnight, in the morning i discovered that the brushes were all oily and eww out of shape, i think i screwed by soaking them in olive oil, could u plz tell me wut to do to completely remove oil? thankss

I honestly didn't know how you were giong to incorporate the red without it looking like some sort of infection or irritated eye. But, I have to give it up to you....it came out beautifully. Just enough to accentuate the green without looking as if the lower eyeline is enflamed, etc. The green is lovely and I'm so envious of your lining skills! Thanks, Koren! Red eyeshadow usually makes your eyes look even more bloodshot... Also it can accentuate any redness you might have on your face :/

hmm I find that a myth - then again, just from experience, every time I use red liner it always accentual the green in eyes, not bring out more red - just Color Theory.

I've done a lot of looks like this when I was working for Too Faced Cosmetics. What I recommend if people fear the red and green combination to be too harsh is a hint of bright gold shimmer on the inner corner of the eye and a splash of it across the inner third of the eyelid. A little bit of gold blended with the red can make it a bit more 'rose gold' for those who fear they look as if they've red eye when wearing it. All-in-all, good job honey. /hugs/

lol, Vulrina! You'd be surprised - smudged red shadow can be super sexy if done with the right shading. And Koren, yeah, I find it sad that people are so scared of color! Even just a pop of colour with a neutral makes SUCH an enormous difference. Experimentation if the only way to find personal ideals yet so many makeup lines keep women rigid! It feels like church. Color Me Beautiful, anyone? ROFL. /faint/

hey Becky - then use red mineral makeup. they dont have dye, but colored with iron oxides.
