  • I like Scott because he talks ABOUT enlightenment instead of talking AROUND it like every other guru I've come across for the last 30 + years. I wish someone had explained this stuff to me long ago - it would have saved me wasting my whole life in evasive seminars, scientology, est, sedona method, Vernon Howard [what a prick] and all the other snobs who's main message was that they were hopelessly superior to their worthless students.

  • the dog clearly has a buddha-nature.. ;-)

  • Scott, look over your left shoulder just above the bed. It almost looks like a face on the wall. ..

    Peace

  • Conundrum: I'm addicted to language and thought in my compulsive struggle to find freedom from the harassment of language and thought.

Accept who you are, what you are, where you are...and get on with it already!

  • This is all second hand, it sounds like Scott is almost quoting The Great Freedom teachings, youve been busted

  • Awareness is modulating like a squiggly line between space and appearances, rather than an appearance (a dot) being detached from space (a line) and trying to rub out the dots which is a part of you.

Seems like the real challenge is to recognise the appearance (especially pain) as awareness and let it be, then it fizzles out.

Even on a therapeutic level, knowing that thoughts come and go is helpful. Self-acceptance comes to mind.

  • I mean "not being involved with what appears"

  • It seems like by just relaxing and being involved with what appears, there is a soothing, relaxing feeling everywhere.

What a wonderful way of living!

I have always thought that there is something wrong with me right now because nothing is happening and right now it is really boring and ordinary.

But actually, it is perfect the way it is, Awareness is in all experience, no matter how boring and ordinary the experience is! Just relax, rest.

Thank you Scott, I enjoy your videos.
