how come your LED's in the middle are not working or are not on? Sometimes when using Torq everything works fine but they dont turn on, and sometimes they do? Can anyone explain why?

I have yet to try and scratch with actual turn tables but Im now finally getting the hang of the xponent, I just believe that it would be more streamline to scratch with moving platter's/jobs/decks... but I would like to hear word from someone who's got experience with the different hardware, someday Ill take an NS7 for a spin...

I connected Virtual dj with exponent and got the drivers for it but it tends to crash,I like using virtual dj better then Torq, I was told it could be the drivers or tht I needed to diactivate my sound card on my Mac book pro/ converted into windows xp, do you haveany problems like that with it crashing??

@djziprn i'm not a scratch dj...but for scratch djing nothing beats vinyl turntables...i would suggest you look into time-code vinyls

open up virtual dj, click on the config, click the remote tab in the config box, click on the xponent, then click activate. it should work for ya. if it doesnt message me and ill try to help u some more

How accurate is the xponent controller ,is it frame perfect?

Ive tried bcd200,ion icue, & total control & they are all unsuitable for accurate scratching & cueing with vdj & a low latency audiocard

im still waiting for a wireless rechargeable standalone controller to use like a guitarist to revolutionise mixing.

hey man how do u managed to get xponent working with virtual dj i cant get da audio set up done, to use the headphones and the sound in da bar at the same time i dont know why its giving me problems all i use is the xponent,my headphones, my mac and the R L cables to the sound of the bar but i cant get to get everything working, any advice??

i uses xponent with virtual dj cause torq provides a fake scratch. virtual dj has a scratch sound more accurated. so i can make cuts to my productions.

but if you are a eletronic music dj .. torq would be nice. the mouse pad on exponent.. you can make som cool effects..

you basically need to go to the CONFIG menu on the top right of virtual DJ, then choose the channels you are using for your speakers and headphone, then chose the sound card that your mixer is using and you'll be good to go .

the scratch with torq doesnt work, it loses 90 percent of the sound wave quality, i really dont understand why, it seems to be irresponsability of M AUDIO.

but all the other effects work ok.

esxcept when torq crashes.
