Imagining there is no heaven will give people a chance to really consider how good things could be here if people actually tried to make this earth better. It is very destructive when people say things like "dont try to make heaven on earth". We should try - for the sake of humanity and the other life we share this universe with.

the biggest problem with "picking" when to fight is that people are going to pick opposite sides because they are different and their backround is different, then each side thinks they are fighting for the right reason but there really is ro right reason to fight, there never is. Just people who think they have to fight, because they are fools. Oh and I can think of on nation that comes to mind, It's called India, I'm not sure if you heard of it, i guess it's pretty big...
and non-violent resistance only works against a democratic nation, go try it in Iran or China, never mind, they tryed that in China didn't work too well
