season 1 and the return of the original cast made the show.. the first season car morph was very expensive but they did a good job to make it reall.. start getting shitting on season 2-3... plus season 1 always had weird concepts in the show..

Viper was a cool show I remembered I was so sad when I heard it got pulled back in the day I used to watch it all the time. I noticed a lot mentioning K.I.T.T., I am sorry but in my opinion they should of kept it a TransAM/Fire-Bird. no fan to Mustangs at all I just don't care to see the new kit. The car ruined it all. Oh yeah I would love to know were I can get the Viper series DVD's.

Did you know that the LH cars showed in the opening of this show were rumored to be RWD and have a 5.9v8? Yeah, they where prototypes. They found a creative way to destroy them too.

Somehow this intro remind me of a cross between the Knight Rider intro and the intro to the HighwayMan (The deep voiced man giving the opening monologue about our heros and criminals they pursue). Strangely, the HoghwayMan intro reminds me of a more extreme Knight Rider intro.... Oh boy.... Overall, Viper resembles Street Hawk moreso than Knight Rider conceptually. What do you guys think...?

When the original Viper series was on, NBC announced it would be going on hiatus. It was never brought back. The USA network picked it up with a new plot line, and lead character, but it never went anywhere.

Actually NBC dropped the show and later a new cast was hired in syndication but USA didn't fund new episodes it just reaired the episodes after it was cancelled after its fourth season.
