No, I did not sample the Chemical Brothers for this song, nor did I use the same samples they used. There's a whole giant world of funk records to choose from, some of those songs, when chopped and re-arranged at a similar BPM can sound the same.

@THEMATTBUXTON thats actually kind of a tough one, i was just reading an article talking about Mux's production as compared to Madlib or Oh No, who the author says focuses on trying to incorporate specific genres into each release, whereas Mool's releases are a cacophony of genres, sub-genres and is more of a post instrumental hip-hop and electro lesson in genre-bending; focusing more on interweaving as many styles as possible into a brilliant sonic cohesiveness that's entirely his own. But....

@THEMATTBUXTON But.... if pressed into pigeon-holing, I would say that its a mega blend of hip-hop, glitch-hop, post instrumental hip-hop, dirty electro/electro, house and Baltimore club.

Some would just call it electro hop, or dirty electro, or maybe even just electro. Or others might call it just instrumental hip-hop, super heavy on the electronic side. Whatever it is though, there is def the inspiration from everything I had mentioned above, pushing on the very boundaries of it all.
