I saw this in 1989 on Sesame Street...seriously. Yeah, Chad and John didn't do this song....and they might have used outakes of clips from "Higher Ground" but this is the official video. Even though it was released after "Mother's Milk" and never on MTV. Actually it might have been "Reading Rainbow" but that was so long ago it's hard to remember. I can't find the origin on google or wikipedia. I just remember.

What happened was because EMI are stupid, they released "Fight Like A Brave" as a single instead of "Behind The Sun". When they signed up with WMG and struck gold with BSSM, EMI released a compilation CD called "What Hits". When they released it they used "Behind The Sun" as the single. Since Jack Irons had left the band and Hillel Slovak had passed away, they used leftover footage from "Higher Ground" and thats why Frusciante and Smith are in this video.
