It's a really weird corner. I actually like it better before but it is stickier now, which is great. I heard the design was to just to make the outside of the track longer to make a certain regulation for length. It's far too wide to be all that useful. Some of that pavement will probably never be driven on.

cool vid, since no big time pro races at portland for a while i had no idea they reprofiled the corner which leads onto the back straight away, very wide and i'm sure it makes the racing better as its easier to do the "over-under" on somebody and get run

Very nice driving! I used to race a Rabbit in ITC so I know the feeling of being faster in the corners and getting left on the straights. Frustrating!
