I am dipshit...that is why I posted what I did.....perhaps your confused or something. If you want to see some results that mean something then perform this experiment inside a vacumn.
Ya, this is such a bogus experiment.....way to many reasons why the pictures would look different. I really hate uncontrolled experiments that mean NOTHING!!
When the electricity enters the living object, it produces an area of gas ionization around the photographed object due to the moisture This moisture gets transferred from the subject to the surface of photographic film causing an alternation of the electric charge pattern on the film. If a photograph is taken in a vacuum, where no ionized gas is present, no image appears. If the image were from a living energy field it would not disappear in a vacuum. (See "Pseudoscience & The Paranormal")

Krilian photography appears to just be the application of one HVDC electrode to the matter to be photographed and then the photo is taken in low light, is that right? can you provide a schematic on how to build the photography machine?
What they are recording with kirlean photography is the electrical resistance of the item. Not it's life force like some mystical tree hugger BS because even minerals exhibit the same effect using kirlean photography. Get a grip on reality. ;)
That's an interesting point...never thought of that possibility before but it makes sense. Kirlian photography does require applied voltage right? Is there anyway to prove it's merely electrical resistance?
@Thopter "Kirlian photography does require applied voltage right?" Yep, lots of volts, but no amps.
"Is there anyway to prove it's merely electrical resistance? The fact you have to attach an extra earth wire to smaller objects, is a bit of a give away. But some people have achieved some strange anomolies, ie half a leaf would still produce a whole leaf image. I've never been able to duplicate the effect tho. so it's dubious. I bought a Kirlean camera years ago for a techno art project. :)
@Valthepixie The "missing leaf" was caused by re-using the same piece of glass that had just mashed down the leaf, and therefore had some residue on it in the shape of the leaf. New glass, no "missing leaf".
For anyone interested, this clip is from a documentary called The Beautiful Truth (2008) that revolves around Dr. Max Gerson's ideas regarding diet as both preventative and cure for many forms of cancer. The film features interviews with scientists and cancer survivors who made use of Gerson Therapy.

Good video, yet the narrator's voice is painful to listen to.
