Oh my favorite bands are: The Beatles, Tom Petty(and the Heartbreakers) and last but not least Vampire Weekend. So this is pretty fucking amazing! "Stop knocking at my door"

i couldn't take it anymore @ 1:50. thats when the lead singer sung the 1st phrase to the 1st verse. he sat and fuckin' talked forever, humbling himself over a crows of people like a pussy. and i thought it was good to be a humble musician. he apparently forgot to install his balls before he got up on stage that day. and besides, how can a band that "hipsters" listen to even know or are aware of something amazing like Tom Petty?
I'm gonna cry! Vampire Weekend are seriously the best men on the planet! Ezra is damn right when he said he's the best poet! HELL YEAH! this is why I'm gonna marry Ezra. Just saying. :)
If u go to Ezra's youtube homepage u'll find this song as one of his favorites,,,does anyone know how they they had an actual setar player 4 this one?
Actually if you read Conversations with Tom Petty it states that Dave only came up with Don't Come Around Here No More and a few other lyrics but Tom filled in the rest :]
Not a fan of this band, yet. But I love that these young kids can appreciate the past. Lots of bands today do horrible covers of semi-old songs (panic at the disco, fall out boy), but this cover is a really great one. Good job guys.
I wish they would have played a longer show at bonnaroo by playing awesome covers like this one. They did play a couple of their new songs there which kicked ass. I think one is called Boston. It is great
4 and a half hours goin on trains subways and through the streets in the pouring rain and id do it again in a heartbeat, plus i got the last vw tshirt :D
