  • Does that N do around 30mph?

  • I know its geared higher than normal. Used on airfields I`m told.

  • Its geared higher because its a Industrial tractor which have small wheels, The RAF and the RN had agricutral wheels for air fields and a un govened tractor is capable of 40 M.P.H. I don't know why the RN would want big wheels as there on Tarmac in Dockyards userly anyway.

  • Where did you get your tyres from?

I have one the same on my '41 Fordson and would like to get hold of another one.

    Cheers, John.

  • You can no longer purchase that pattern of tyre any longer. Im restoring a 41 wide wing and I had to purchase wheels with them fitted as I had Sentinal Steam wagon wheels before.
