  • @TheBandit240 From looking at the their website, it says it can upload photos and videos.

  • het i have a D40 and am going to buy this card. You said it had to be a a certan mode to power the wi fi??? please explain?

  • does the SD-usb adapter work for other sd cards of the same size?

  • Great show! I'm having a terrible time seeing my card, it doesn't seem to be found. I've followed all steps to set it up but still, nothing is being uploaded.

    Any thoughts? Thank you.

  • I made a Fan Film for the Eye-Fi Card!

    ADVENTURES IN EYE-FI

    Hope ya like it :-)

  • I'm looking at possibly using this in a studio hence shooting in RAW format on a Canon 40D or 5D

  • My first reply didn't make sense because I thought you were commenting on a different product review! Sorry. :) No, the Eye-Fi doesn't support RAW. I do know that the company continues to update the software and product line so maybe it'll be added in the future.

  • @kirkyuhnke Eye-Fi Pro X2 8GB Wi-Fi SDHC Card Class 6 Supports RAW

  • Hey, nice video.

Can you confirm that it will transmit pictures shot in RAW?

    Cheers.

  • Nice tutorial! The Eye-Fi won't transfer RAW files. The image it transferred was a JPG.

BTW, if you left your Pics folder open would the image be displayed full screen or at least larger than a thumbnail automatically, i.e. with no user input (like double-clicking the thumbnail)?

    Thanks

  • I think what you're asking is if you can setup a slideshow on a folder that is getting new images? Is that what you asking? If so, the answer is yes! You can setup a slideshow to pull images out of a folder and new images will show up as soon as they are transferred. If you were asking something else then I didn't exactly understand the question.

  • Thanks Kirk. Exactly my question. A slide show would work. I was hoping to have each image remain on screen until the next image arrives.

Photojojo have a CF adapter for use with the Eye-Fi but its back ordered. Amazon has the same one for less.

  • Just a heads up, Eye-fi is planning to release a CF version of this product in the near future. They have no released a date yet but it is coming soon.

  • nice tutorial... but for pete's sake man, stabilize and focus!

  • Amazing!!

  • Motives88: D40 for less than 1000?? It retails for 599, right?

Andreartdotnet: They say a CF version is coming soon

Baksiew969: I don't understand your question? Have a tested it with a pocket pc? Do you mean putting the eye-fi sd card into a pocketpc?

  • Have you tested white the old pc pocket ???

  • why it is not CF ???

  • Thanks for putting this up... Do you know where I can get a Nikon d40 for less than 1000? I really like the quality of the pic you took INSIDE the house =>
