WRONG. It was called "aluminum" when it was named in 1808. You guys just pointlessly added an "I" to be different.

Not to mention, there's the original Latin from which the name is derived. "Aluminum" is "of alum", which is far less nonsensical than "Aluminium" which would mean "of alums". It makes much more sense to adopt the singular. We don't say that "cuprous" means "of or related to coppers" - but rather "... to copper".

A-L-U-M-I-N-U-M. Deal with it.

I'll tell you something I'm going to do for my dad when I get him a gift. I'm going to wrap the box in three layers of Goriller tape and then wrap the box in normal wrapping paper. I call it, "Gorilla-Fool Wrap". And despite the name, I'm not fooling a gorilla, even though my dad has lots of body hair and long arms.

Awesome wrapping Job!! What happened, did the Red Green show offer tips on duct tape gift wrapping? LOL!! One year, I have my nephew and nice money. I put the money in an envelope, wrapped that in tin foil, put that in a small box, put that box in a bigger box. put that in a bigger box, put that box in a bigger box, and finally put that box in a back pack, and yes, I duct taped the hell out of the back pack. it was fun watching them open their gifts. LOL!!

Not a problem. These gifts were already hand delivered at a Christmas Party on the 20th. It is pending as a 'video response' to that party video, so you can see them being opened.
