ive been there before, i live in the area and people have their stories, but nothings ever happened to me or the majority of my friends, others say their phones die, cameras die, people get physical pain like an actually body injury. it wasnt an asylum, it was a hotel and mud spa used by the packrack, prostitutes, and even the queen of england. it burn down a couple of times. but thats all.
Um, i live 10 min from there, know the owners, which that is private property btw, Ive slept in there by myself, not too scary. . And ive paintballed in there probably 20 times. Ive been around there quite alot, and in all my talks with the owners, or all the people that live around and know the place ive never heard anything about it being an insane asylum. It did burn down a few times, but it was just a hotel to my knowledge.

Most memorable part from our visit was when we played hide and seek, girls against boys. My friend and I saw a shadow dart into one of the rooms in the downstairs hallway. No one there and the window was nailed shut. We went running out to the van and found all the guys hiding on the floorboards. I Never went back.

k so my friends and i went to mudlavia tonight. Me and my bud found the crawl space and went in. we painted the place up with green spray paint. we wrote the date 4/15/2011. If u ever go u gotta check it out. we didnt see anything paranormal by the way, no ghosts, no demons. its got bats tho.
A friend went there with some friends wer there for 15 mins ran out. He asked the one guy who was with them why he screamed and wanted to leave he lefted up his shirt and there was a black and blue handprint for 2 weeks.
My Grandma had her Bridal shower there, she's from Attica. My cousin and I went twice and told her about it and "surprise" she got us Mudlavia coasters for Christmas! I thought it was really cool! They had a picture printed on them of the building around the 50's and it was huge and grand and just down-right beautiful. To this day my coaster is the only image of the real Mudlavia I have ever seen!
We were chased out once, the guy next door took off towards us in a semi.

He's pretty cool, actually, but if he knows you're there without permission, he'll sometimes go there to mess with you. There's nothing haunted there. My daughter and grand-daughter and her friend were all there a few months back. WE were followed the whole time and we asked it to hit something. It did. I took a brick home with me from there, that night at exactly 3:18am I got up to our clock going around clockwise very fast and had to take the battery out of it to stop it. When I put the battery back in it the next am, it worked fine. It is very haunted and always will be. Its the ground not the building. Thanks Tedi

The owners like to scare people off because the building structure is a liability. I don't know that it's haunted, my grandma did have her bridal shower there in the 60's but it look much MUCH different then. I would like to go back there but have heard that it was torn down recently by the owner.

we went there and were run off by some dude in a truck. we parked up close to the house so we wouldnt be seen, and walked inside. we saw headlights coming so we rushed out the back around the wooded part and watched the truck look at our car, and then took a spotlight and shined it up at the building. we ran to our car and were starting it up when some dude said it was private property and to get out. so we left and the truck followed us out of attica. going back sometime later
You better go back soon. I heard they are gonna tear it down REAL soon. I could be wrong about it happening soon, but im almost positive they are going to tear it down.
