@Gabbyandindigo 1- learn to spell; 2- you have no idea whether that farmer "bred" her at too young of an age, maybe it was the bulls genetics, or maybe she just had a longer gestation than most. unless you know the farmer personally then you shouldn't make rash judgments.
@Freddie130489 ...do you think its a good idea to have an animal that doesnt know what in the world you're doing run around with a gaping hole in its side?
@MissCheshireCat19 Then you surely must know the consequences of using more sedatives than necessary. I don't mean to insult you if that is what you think.
@Freddie130489 her back feet are tied together, preventing much kicking/movement, and by this point in time, I can only imagine how many hours shes been trying to get that calf out. She must be more than exhausted. I'm pretty sure the vet didnt over sedate her because 1: the mother could be in danger is it happened, and 2: why would he put it on youtube? lol
@Freddie130489 mhm, i know for pulling the calf you definitely want them standing so gravity can work with you, but all of the c-sections ive seen were with the cow on the ground; sorry if i sounded snappy earlier, its hard to judge when people are being idiot with you (which you are definitely not) :)
I would be such a nervous wreck worrying about keeping that kind of procedure sterile with her abdomenal wall opened up right there in the pasture! crazy stuff! :)
Is he trained to do this? Like cutting the cow up?

@MissCheshireCat19 That sounds like a good explanation :P I'm used to the cows standing during the cesarean so I wondered.
