That's why they did it in this ad. Because that's what people love him for. I thought the advert was brilliant.

That said as a part of this failure of an audience, Link's Awakening is my favorite Zelda game of all time. Best story, best music, and wow you could actually press a button and jump. Revolutionary. I just don't give a damn what Link is.
