I remember riding the bus from Canal St., turning right at Magazine (there was a soda fountain/drugstore with soda fountain that had the stainless counter right on that corner - 1968, I think) and riding it up to 4023 Magazine. My aunt & uncle lived at 4017 Magazine. Back then, most of those were private houses, not the businesses they are now. I loved walking over and looking at the mansions on St. Charles! Thanks so much!

I believe the river is very, very small in places up north. It's really crazy to think about.
And nice video. I'm currently in New Orleans for the first time. I've enjoyed just walking and seeing the city.
