  • They only used the original Michael Bennet choreography (original Broadway, recreated in Camp at the end;;;Jingle Bells, Jinglee Bells, etc.) Their choreography is pretty good.

  • The Choreography was original and pretty awesome, HOWEVER! the audio track used is from "Camp".

  • Although the choreography was completely different than the original, this was still awesome!

Much better than what the actual broadway people put together.

This had better choreography and more talent than the stuff that they charge nearly 100 bucks to see.

Good job to the cast and the Dana

  • this was good, but the choreography from the movie camp was a 1000x better

  • That was just awesome!

  • Really fun to watch @ the end!!!! Lol, great!

  • ok i dont know why but this video always makes me so happy lol

  • ahhh i love camp!!!!! great job!!!

  • @kaiyaxrawr this isnt from cmp, lol, its from promises promises... camp just covered it

  • @Nfigue2 this recording is from camp, you can tell by the incorporation of "I'm Still Here" at the end

  • the music they used was the camp version. but yes, the original song is from promises promises.

  • The overall performance was great, and the fact that they incorporated the original moves made me smile even more! : )

  • This is really excellent. Please would you look at my two videos and tell me what you think.

  • i love this so much. it makes me think about going to this school for college. if anyone goes here, or went here, please i would love to know more about the musical theater department

  • glad to see another fwf alum making it big! great work--

  • I so wish I was at this school.

Also LOVE that it is the track from CAMP being used!

  • hahaha breaking it down at 1:40 and 2:08 love it.

    go blue!

  • i love it!!!

  • Correcting was appropriate.

However, your "dipshit" comment was extremely rude and unnecessary - and makes you look like a total jerk.

  • The girl SQUEALING at 1:57 literally ruins it for me.

  • Brilliant!

  • Great great job!!! Very well done.

  • i absolutely love that they use the version from Camp, and do the signature move at the end.

    perfection.

  • are soooo gd! i want to go there

  • LOVE IT! Performance looks very exciting. What a great Christmas song. This should be every bit as popular as any standard around the holidays.

  • Brilliant! Such energy amazes me. I wish you all a Snowy-Blowy Christmas!

  • GOOD LORD .. what, 40 students in sync? I am ADDICTED to your college's uTube videos -- what happens after you leave college? 'cause I haven't seen it in Broadway shows. lol

    Gratz!

  • WOWOWOWOWOW THIS WAS JUST SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!! great job!!!!!

  • I'm STILL HEERRRRREEEEEEe

  • The short blond guy in the front at 1:39 was working it

  • Very well-danced and -choreographed.

  • you guys are fucking terrific dancers. well done. best one on youtube.

  • This is really good.

  • omg its the camp recording!! great<3

  • spectacular ending

  • This was Amazing! I love that they used the CAMP recording of the song! Bravo!

  • haha , i love this!

  • this was amazingly awesome i was speechless!

i loved the jingle bells part!

  • I've seena few videos from this school and.... WOW.

  • This is amazing! (This is one of the schools I'm looking at for Theatre... hmmm. ;)

  • Stunning. I'm a 3rd year at GSA in England, we should be doing more of this stuff! You guys rocked.

  • So awesome, I loved the ending section.

    really fun. :-)

  • u guys rock! me and my bff memorized( and performed) it from camp, and then we tried to learn urs....but that didnt work. :(

  • Whatevsss! There are a few similarities, but honestly not that many. I mean, come on, you can't choreograph this dance without using the "Jingle Bells" move. BUT, this choreography is much much much much much much much much more technical than anything in Camp. I love it, mad props!

  • The original Michael Bennet choreography featuring Donna McKechnie is still pretty hard to beat. And I agree with you, you can't do the "Jingle Bells" at the end without using the Bennet heads pops and arms. I think that the original sway back kicks are needed as well though to give the song its loose party feel too.

  • Have you actually seen both clips? Because if you had I don't see how you could possibly say this one is copied. Any similarities you see have to do with the fact that there are signature moves germane to the song, for example the head and arms at the end - that's done in most interpretations. It seemed pretty original to me and very well done.

  • have you seen CAMP?

practically everything is different until the end. and you do not do "Turkey Lurkey" without the signature Bennet moves so they were NOT copying CAMP, they were copying the original dance.

so get a life, you ignorant jerk.

  • @Unplugged516 That's not even copying the original choreo. The only thing that this choreo has uncannily in common is the end flapping. Which is wonderful, and should be in every choreo of this song.

  • you all r really good!

  • Bravo!

  • whoa... that guy in the front right at the end has a veeeeeeeery flexible neck.

  • Who is the girl that starts off on the right (viewers right) at the beggining... I want a girl that can put their leg that high

  • don't we all

  • OMG effing amazing... david i think i see you in this. the last move i started clapping even though i'm sitting by myself LOL bc i remember Camp and wow yeah. i'll see you at rehearsal tonight.

  • wow that was soo awsom i wish i could dance like that lol.

  • a lot of this is from camp! very similar dances. give them credit

  • But Camp got alot of moves from the original production. Which was featured in the 1968 Tony Awards Show.

  • Great! I was gonna be SO disappointed if you didn't do "jingle bells" like on Camp. classic.

  • hahaha leonard

  • a valiant effort!! well done

  • i am in heaven everytime i watch this number. i don't care who's performing it

  • Me, too. Hats off to everyone in this production. I wish you much happiness and success.

  • i saw almost all the vids and they are awsom

  • I love how it's not just the 3 solo dancers in this...I love how everyone is involved! <3

  • isn't part of that jerry mitchell's cheoreography from the movie camp?

  • 1) by your use of the term "co-ed dance troupe" i assume you meant "umich musical theatre majors, some of teh most talented young actors in the country"

2)the turkey lurkey time dance is not exactly the citizen kane of the american musical.

3)this isn't modern dance at all. by that point in your comment, i had realised that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about anyway.

maybe educate yourself before you be a passive agressive bigmouth on youtube.

  • Uof M is just awesome. Period!

  • great job and a lot of fun! however it would have been preferable to use the original Broadway cast recording to CAMP's version.

  • very cute. good job guys! Im sure ill see some of you on broadway!

  • if you see a partridge in a pear tree

climb up & bring it back to me

    thats something

    i would like to see!!!

  • EXCELLENT JOB!!! this is probabaly the best dance sequence in CAMP and u all did an AMAZING job!!! im glad that the dance for the "jingle bells" part was kept...that was AWESOME lol...thumbs up!!!

  • awesome job..u crazy peoples..lol

  • this is really cute! how long does it take you guys to memorize these dances?!

  • haha oh the camp version...so hot.

  • I love you Turkey lurkey from promises promises/CAMP!

  • hehe i like it!
