If I remember correctly, after the fight with Remiel and Kratos you still fight Yggdrasil with "Beat the angel". This theme appears the second and third time you fight Yggdrasil.
@NessAndLucied You are right! I'm doing a mania run and just yesterday I reached that part. I just forgot. It is great that one can hear this awesome theme early in the game even though you die quickly/ have limited time.
You gotta consider just how epic this song sounds the first time you hear it.
First you beat Remiel, one of the hardest bosses up to that point in the game, then you immediately have to fight Kratos who is ridiculously more powerful than any other boss you've seen, Remiel included.
Imagine barely beating him but using up most of your items in the process. And then Yggdrasill shows up with almost twice as much health as Kratos. This song kicks in, and you realize you're way out of your league.
I loved Mithos as the villain in ToS. I mean he wasn't even really evil, rather sad and lonely. I mean all he wanted was acceptance and a place to live :/

@YoshiFan007 Although the fight usually doesn't last long enough to appreciate it in all its glory. But there's the other fight for that purpose.
