  • Nice bends!

  • Good job, Thanks

  • I have been cruising youtube for versions of this song. Yours is one I will be comming back to get a "like" from me

  • YES!!!! Will continue to use your vid to practice, practice, and practice! Cheers, mate!

  • Nice Cover!!!.woulda been nice to see and Hear you....

  • what wonderful secrets revealed thank you

  • could you please make a tutorial of "the spider and the fly"?

  • Great video, you're better than Keith.

Thanks for your video, I learned more by you than by all the guys I played with during last 30 years.

  • That's badass, man! Love your jumbo Gibson!

  • Might as well cover "you got to move" because it's in open E also.

  • Nice choice.... sweet

  • "I Just Wanna See His Face" Was probably written about @Privettricker... Haha, I have learned so much from watching your acoustic vids, shame you don't play bass too! ; )

  • @Gitaaroverlast Who said I don't play bass? :)

  • @privettricker: Ah, you do? Would love to see you play some Stones tunes, if you've got the time! I can always learn from somebody with great ear and musical feel!

  • thx for posting!.. yet another song I learned thanks to your vids!

  • I swear tricker, every single song I want to learn you are there.

    Always always appreciated.

    Love Open D/E

  • greetings from germany !

  • great video (;

  • Oh man, I never thought in 51 yrs I would see a fan of Stones (Stewart, etc) as much as I was.

Working to learn guitar...understand open G tuning (and have 20 apple crates of Blues records collected over those 51 yrs).

Getting my Fender Strat and Fender Blues Jr. back out!!!!! Thanks for re-lighting the fire.....WOW!

    MitchfromVA

  • Keep up the great work dude! Long live the stones!

  • authentic ! super

  • Far fuc##@ out !!!!!!

  • Thank you. At 55 years old, I lost a lot of brain cells partying to this album. It's about time I learn to play it. Almost got it. Just got to get the perfect timing. Thanks.

  • Thanks for these videos, man. Beggars Banquet is fast becoming my favorite Stones album for all the acoustic stuff.

  • you sir are great, awesome stuff

and GORGEOUS Gibson, I got to play a friend's J200 today, amazing

  • You're awesome at all these Stones songs, man! Of course, when you have good material....Love this, No Expectations, Sweet Virginia, et al. Sweet guitar...that's a Gibson S200(?) Sounds great. Does playing in open E put too much strain on the neck? I've heard some open tunings do, but Keith used open E and G alot. I think he played this and alot of other acoustic classics of their's on a Hummingbird. Great work, keep it up!

  • is this a Gibson Hummingbird?

  • god i cant get over how beautiful that guitar is....

  • This is the most beautiful version I've heard... I'm playing in open g the stones since 30 years ... Very good indeed

  • Full time. Obviously.

  • Amazing you can learn and record more than one song a day with such precision and still have another full tome job. Very impressive.

  • Always wanted to learn it. Your lessons are always so good. Why don't you do more?

  • @bonannop I'm averaging more than 40 videos a month. I suppose I could quit my job and show up at your house every day to give free guitar lessons. But as I think about it some more, I'd rather earn a living. No offense.

  • Fucking amazing mate, im trying to get the guitarists in my band to play this kinda stuff.

  • It actually looks a lot easier than it sounds.

  • @MrCeej9999 Yes, that's true of most rock songs. At least, it's true of everything I play. :)

  • @MrCeej9999 If Keith (Keef) is playing a song, there is a good chance it is in an open tuning.

  • Great playing, you need to change your image now. The room in the background is way too pristine for this music. Need to find an old woodshed, and hang a cigarette out of your mouth.

  • Very nice

  • Are you using a pick or your fingers to strum?

PS This is all but perfect!

  • @uncletravellingphil With a pick. My nails aren't long enough to pull this one off without a pick. :)

  • @privettricker Yeah I'm just trying it myself and I get a lot more sound of it with a pick :)

  • Perfect and thank you! I thought it sounded quite similar to vestapol which is played in open D. Do play gibsons exclusively?

  • Outstanding and thank you. Your work is impeccable. Can this be played in open D as easily?

  • @newburyma7 The fingering for open D would be identical, just tuned down lower than open E.

  • Thanks, nice job. What's the tuning?

  • @bigbadmeme Open E. Keith used a lot of open E and open D on Beggars Banquet.

  • Absolutely jealous of that playing lol. How did you manage to nail that, its note for note perfect tbh.

  • got to say this is fantastic

  • Loved this one !

  • nevermind i c now

  • what is this tuning

  • a js200 and a humming on the back... lucky guy

  • Amazing! You're a great guitarist, man :)

  • You probably have the best ear I have seen on youtube.. Spot on!!

  • Great job - I really enjoyed this, nice playing and tone.

    gtrjoe

  • amazing

  • You ARE a Rolling stone !:-)

  • Great stuff your vids are all fantastic!

  • Got to say that was a cool song that song is my facebook profile name I love that song

  • as it is tuned?

  • Fantastic!

     Thank you.

  • gettin down my man ....love this tune !

  • The last chord of the song---- place one finger on the e string on the 2nd fret and strum the entire chord down.

  • @IdolHans I tried (starting from low E) 000032 and it sounded right. Don't know what chord it is....

  • This is a Gibson J-200 and you have some hummingbirds 2 i guess

  • @MagicMaui1 Got rid of the Hummingbird -- now I've got at Dove. In addition to the J200, the other Gibson (the black one) is an Everly Brothers.

  • @privettricker like i said ... Great guitars, they sound you just like i wanted them to sound ...Btw, I'm lefthanded, hardly to find such great guitars ...

  • @MagicMaui1 southpaw guitars Houston Texas!

  • @bbstopit thanks for your reaction ! Didn't know about it, just found the site ...

Btw, I found a Gibson j-100 Xtra, which is going to be rebuild to a left one

  • Open E, one of the most nicest tunings ever, just strum straight on and do some hamers ons and pull offs

Btw, you got great gitars, they look like Gibson gitars

  • great job man love that song!

  • Sounds Great!!..Vocals were too Low But The Music is on It!!

  • @Carlfgauge Well, it's not a demo on how to sing it.

  • @privettricker Meant No Offense Privet...You sound Good Just cant hear you too Well...Enjoyed the open tuning rendition ....

  • @carlguage Sorry, I meant that it's not me singing. I'm just playing. Trust me, I'm performing a public service by not singing!

  • How many guitars have you got.I hope you don't mind me asking.I'm just curious. You have some amazing instruments.. if thats not staing the bleedin obvious !

  • Nicely done. Nice instructional video and way to represent the Stones.

  • That guitar sounds beautiful! You play this song so much more smoothly than I do. Awesome!

  • beautiful guitar

  • It's hella good. Thanks for sharing this! Great to see how it's played. That'll be the way you get along!

  • Sweet

  • nice house, nice guitar, nice playin.

  • What equipment did you use for recording? Great stuff!

  • No equipment. Just put the tripod between me and the stereo. Sometimes I get lucky with the mix.

  • factory girl is in open e?

    beautiful guitar lesson

  • Factory Girl is standard tuning, just tuned down slightly.

  • awesome, do you learn these by your own ear?

  • By ear. I think that's the best way to get things right, because most tabs are wrong.

  • yeah, your videos are so awesome because i have been looking at tabs for so long, never got a shit right, allthough this song in perticular i allmost handled myself :)

  • oh by the way, could you do a video on "crackin' up" the rolling stones cover from love you live?

  • Thanks alot. Great Guitar and great playing. I just started playing in open tunings, this helps alot. I love the full sound and different possibilities with open tunings.
