Are the future scenes where it shows Kyle Reese getting burned on the car after being chased by an HK & The Franco Colombo Terminator ambushed the hideout of the resistance a dream? Was that all a nightmare or did it really happen? Cuz the 1st ended with Kyle waking up on his car, & the 2nd with Sarah waking up on Kyles arms.
@snake2006 Like I said, it's been retconned to mean that in 'Sarah Connor Chronicles' and possible 'Salvation, but in the original statement by Kyle, there's no indication 'Tech Com' means the name of the resistance or that he was personally a 'Tech Com'. As in, Combat Technician.
And no, it doesn't make much sense for them to call themselves that. By that logic, the allies in World War Two should've called themselves 'Nazi Germanists' - you don't call yourself after the enemy. :)

@EchoBoomer1987 It wouldn't seem right for Michael Biehn to play a 13 year old. But I say they should've made a Terminator movie that ignores 3 and 4 in the future with Michael Biehn reprising his role as Kyle Reese.

I really like Michael Beihn and mean no insult to him. (If you haven't seen "Planet Terror" yet, DO IT NOW.) But he's just not the right age at this point to play a character who's in his late teens or early 20s.

Always thought it was an odd choice of title for the resistance to name themselves.
