  • Uh this isnt a 'creative' form but an extreme form

  • @ninjadreamheart - Thanks, I know that. But if your old school like me, you stick with old school names. haha

There was only "Open Creative" or "Traditional" divisions. That is still a creative form. But now since there are levels of difficulties, they made extreme and non- extreme divisions.

  • i used to like sport Karate when I was a kid. I perfer more traditional now. Traditional forms are different, in that it is actually an excellent training tool. If you havent looked him up, a good example of traditonal martial arts is Mas Oyama. But for creative forms it looked good. My only suggestion is lock your stances and tecniques for a split second, make them more crisp. Make them more distinct. You looked like you where kind of run'n through it. But impressive gymnatics.

  • @SmokenSalemGuns - Thanks for the compliments and constructive criticism. I appreciate your thoughts/corrections. I will be sure to keep that in mind the next time I do performances. I will emphasize more of the basic foundations including more solid stances and pauses.

  • The old studio! :D

  • @cammicakeswashere - :-D Yea, I miss that place. Lots of fun memories

  • nice moon kick

  • this is really good but uh y are you doing it to that song?... lmfao

  • HAHAHA, well it was just a training session. My brother had different songs playing on his I-pod, and I guess I didn't bother to change the track. But thanks for the compliment. I'll try to have more karate videos up soon.

  • thats so cool! this is mary again from GMAF.. what kind of martial arts is that...??? karate? TKD????? send me a message on our page!

  • yayy!! awesome

  • I like that move at 0:21

  • Thanks. Kata competitors and trickers call it a "Running Double Leg 540". I appreciate the compliment. Thanks again.

  • I recognize this spot. San Jose, CA?

  • Yessir. That was my old dojo. We moved to another location, but its still near by.

I have a really weak memory, so, by any chances...do I know you?

  • No, I don't ever recall meeting you. I seen Jim in Napa this weekend.

  • Oh I see. If you ever see him again, tell him the Catura Family said hello. I have been a part of USAMA for 16 years. Since I moved, I haven't visited the school much, but they will always be family to me.

  • whoa i could never do that, all the martial arts i do are slow, brutal, and boring to watch - grappling and kickboxing mainly

  • What are you talking about? Kickboxing is awesome. :-)

  • Yeah but it does not look nearly as cool as the moves you do in this video. You are like jet li man!

  • Aww heh, thanks for the compliments. I bet you if you practiced basic jumping/kicking drills, you could pull off similar stuff. :-) Its a long process of repetition...But I have so much respect to you with your grappling/kick boxing style. That's a new style to me but I have been picking up things little by little.

  • very good man!!!!

  • thanks :-)

  • great double jumping reverse roundhouse and power speed its not all about tricks but u pull them off with humbleness and correct form not like a lot of those tricksters do it to impress people i beleive u do it motivate people

  • Thank you. I appreciate hearing that. Its a good feeling to do something I love, and have people inspired/motivated by it. Best thing I could ask for.

  • 5/5 Nice form, lots of power =]

  • Thanks :-)

  • Nice Form, you should enter the US Open in Orlando, Florida. If you have not already entered.

    Renshi Fookes

  • Thats NASKA right? I have such high respect for those competitors. The new generation are on a whole other level now. Thanks for the compliment btw. Much respect to ya.

  • you have great speed + intensity and a nice combonation of tricks in there

    looks good

  • Thanks for the compliments. :-) Much appreciated

  • Simply awesome! :-)
